A new age begins. A t.v sets report the deathtoll is high and rising, yet the newscaster is appealing for calm. The evacuation process is underway and people are instructed to stay indoors until further notice. A strange virus has wiped out all the adults the world is left to start over in your hands. The power supply has long since gone down and food has started to run short, either band together with a Tribe or go it on your own either way you have to learn how to survive in this new age.
In order to survive, the children band together in Tribes. They give themselves new names, reinvent dress codes and beliefs and create their own rules. Some Tribes are power hungry and malevolent; while others just try not to make the same mistakes the adults did and strive for peace. All the Tribes wear specific clothes or make-up which helps to differentiate them from other Tribes.

-No god moding (you do and I’ll give you the virus myself)
-You don’t have to belong to one of the three tribes, but ask if you want to make your own tribe.
-Please note there is no appearance area, this is because I want you to be descriptive, make us see you through your words.
-You are a normal kid, no vampires, demons, angels, cyborg. Nothing out of the norm unless you Pm me and get an ok ahead of time

F.A.Q.
The virus, what do we (the kids) know about it.
-where did it come from? Unknown (to the kids, at least for now.)
-what does it do? Causes rapid aging and death. (week or two at the most)

-how does it spread?
The virus for a while was airborn but it’s been a bit since the last case so most believe it’s gone. Animals seem to be immune to it. (Though if people annoy me it may come back or I may use it to move the plot along)
- how long ago did the virus hit? The main hit about a year ago with the last case being a month ago.

The tribes.
-when did they form? The tribes formed just as a bunch of kids looking out for each other when the virus hit.
-how did they get their names? Picked by the leaders often reflecting their beliefs.


Trading
Money has become useless and the world now works on a trading system, though no set trading price has been set and often the value of items varies from tribe to tribe, and yes there is slave labor, the stronger tribes sometime praying on the weaker ones of taking in some wanders/strays.

(I'll handle writing for the leaders until someone comes along who wants to take over, heads up though you gotta prove to me you'll be a fitting person for them. This just means give me an example through a Pm.)

Fyre- Their faces usually marked with a red or orange stripe down one eye they are a tribe led by drake a boy with extreme view and an odd sense of fair play. He’s not outright mean but to him his tribe comes first and he wont stand for anyone getting in his way. Keeps mostly to junkyards though slowly spreading out into surrounding areas.

Echo- A series of three marks green and red down their eye and one blue across their nose Led by Neko (boy) and kat (girl) twins who are very caring about nature and believe there is a balance to everything and that the virus came because that balance needed to be reset. At home mostly just outside the city they keep to the farms trying to run them as best they can though sometimes going into the city to trade.

Bio/personality: Calm and levelheaded he spends most his time with his sister working a farm just outside of the city. He is normally the one to speak up and like his sister believes in the balance of thing, yet he is a little less trusting of people than his sister seems to be

Bio/Personality: Even before the virus she spent most her time alone. She is very street smart and was preparing to join a gymnastics team when the virus hit. Scared of the other kids who have joined into tribes she tries to avoid them at all times.She chooses to live inside the mall making sure to keep the way in hidden from all others.
