After hours of travel, Kaworu stopped to rest in what seemed to be nothing more than a rocky wasteland. He lazily collapsed on the ground, regretting going on a mission like this without packing any supplies. He closed his eyes for a few moments trying to catchup on sleep. Though he could smell something in the air, he always had a perceptive sense of danger.

Kaworu reacted instantly as he heard a disturance in the air, the kunai which had been flying towards him was deflected by a precisely thrown shuriken. His sharingan activated he searched the area for the slightest bit of movement. "You better come out and face me for real, you'll live longer that way." He taunted, in the mood for a fight. It didn't matter which village this ninja belonged too, anybody who attacked him from a blindspot like that would be considered an enemy.

Kaworu smiled as a familiar chakra came rushing towards him though he couldn't exactly remember who,"Shall we dance?" He taunted, wanting to enjoy this fight. The shuriken were simple enough to dodge, though this seemed like a two sided attack. He picked the most obvious method available to him for gaining the highground. Kaworu jumped into the air, much higher than a normal ninja should be able to. The source of his excellent air was revealed to be one wing emerging from his right side, the mark of his sai naru clan. He landed low to the ground on one of the flatter rocks, now noticing Rita's flying kick. He leaned his body to the opposite side in which Rita was aiming, and tried to redirect the force of the blow. He did this by reaching out for RIta's leg, though he would only grab it for a brief moment in order to change her path by a few centimeters. His most likely response after woudl've been to throw his body weight the opposite way for a full dodge, and motion with his finger to come at him again.

Kaworu noticed a large rock hurtling his way, and a chakra source behind it. For a moment he pondered which way of dodging would be the best for the current situation. He took a step backwards, forming the seals necessary calling up his katon chakra. "Fire Style Dragon Fire Jutsu!" He shouted a stream of fire rushing from his mouth. It hit the rock square on, the heat melting it into magma. He took this chance to dodge, using his weight shift to spin through the air landing ready for Rita's punches. To counter he used the leaf lotus style, spinning around to drive his heel aimed at Rita.

Kaworu gritted his teeth, bowing his head low,"Ninjas are to defend themselves when attacked by unknown enemies," He stated neutrally. Raising his head kaworu looked at the other unknown ninja. "I come from leaf, searching the tsuchikage." He added, "Just for a talk to reassure our allies." His face softened and returned to his normal calm.
