.Intro.A new roleplay to help keep this area fresh and spiced up. It's a pretty generic storyline but I figure these ones go on for longer and have more character development so what the heck!

.Plot. The "peaceful" and tropical continent of Torrica has always been well known for it's elaborate houses/architecture and exotic goods. Because of this, it's always been home to crooks and thieves who can make an easy buck by just stealing all of the wares or even kidnapping a local nobleman's daughter for a pretty penny. Although most soldiers and warriors are well trained, the thieves are too hard to spot meaning it's a dangerous place where the nobles will pay just about anyone for ways of getting more money, ridding them of troubles or getting dirt on the many other families. Good people are hard to find in such a time.
However, it's about to get worse.
An old evil is about to come back. From a far away and long dead country supposedly taken over years ago by heroes, there are mysterious undead creatutres, wicked necromancy and mysterious types of "blood magic" appearing in Torrica. Worse of all, they are planning to bring back one of their worst - their leader. But to do so, they need a body with enough magical energy to harness in his spirit.
What will happen to the Torricans? Can the villains and thieves step up and become heroes? Will the undead take over? And will they find a host for their leader?

.Rules.A simple and hopefully effective bunch of rules. Read well and we won't have a problem!
1. No godmodding, powerplaying or otherwise cheating in the roleplay. Get hit every one in a while and don't control the flow of battle in your favour - it's boring.
2. Romance is encouraged, as per usual. But nothing over PG-13. Be reasonable.
3. Be polite to the other roleplayers. If you need to communicate, don't hesitate to talk to others Out of Character in brackets such as these (()) or [[]] or <<>> or whatever. It adds communication.
4. I'd love for this to be long lasting so if you join, please don't leave without telling.
5. Try not to ignore anyone. It can be hard if a lot of people post but it's not fun to be left out for anyone so try to include everyone when you can.
6. You can make up classes and items if you like, but, they have to be balanced and make sense.
7. IF you want to join, PM me a filled out profile and title the PM "The Otherside".

.Setting. Torrica is a beautiful and vivid yet dangerous place. The climate here is quite hot and it is known for having a very famous volcano to the north known simply as the Geyser for it's random spurts of lava that aren't quite eruptions. There are also several mountains and it rains often in the south making the ground very muddy and hard to traverse. There are three main countries - Lonza, Madella and Odalu.
LONZA:
The northern most country and owner of the Geyser. Perhaps the stupidest of the kings, the king of Lonza loves attention and wealth and often drags tourists here from all over with various merchandises and resort spots. Regardless of his greed, he is known for being very clever and will do anything to make sure it goes his way. Slaves are known to still be in Lonza though in very quiet areas. The weather up here is very hot and the defenses here are sadly very low. There are many obvious illegal activities and deals that people are often too scared or blackmailed to speak anything about.
MADELLA:
The smallest country squished between Lonza and Odalu.The Madellans are very strict and offer harsh punishments to lawbreakers especially to travellers or those of a different race. Speaking out is intolerable. Most people are very friendly (perhaps too friendly) and courteous but this is all a facade as there are many rebellions and unhappy rioters in Madella. Despite it's strict laws, there are still many lawbreakers who are unpunished and many soldiers and nobles who are paid into keeping them safe.
ODALU:
The southern-most countryand home to many mercenaries and free lance soldiers looking for quick money. The king has been known to have been eyeing up Madella in order to take it over for it's incredible spice and food resources which are less common in the muddier lands. It is known for having a huge armada and the best ships in the continent. Many merchants stop off here only to be preyed upon by thieves and crooks. If you know the right people here, you can buy practically anything.Table of Contents: 1. Intro

Name: Sherry Mason
Age: 17
Personality: She's very coy. Sherry barely ever says what she means and if she's talking to you upfront you're either in trouble or she's lying. She is a meticulous perfectionist who cannot stand any detail being out of place which by proxy makes her a very tidy person. She loves a challenge but knows when she's in too deep.
Bio: Sherry Mason, although she goes by many names, is an information dealer or what you may say a spy for hire. She gets information and deals dirt on who she's paid to. She left home at the early age of thirteen when she refused point blank to work in her mother's business, a long chain of famous inns and taverns. Her father was a warrior who retired for his family - when Sherry stated this, he told her to leave. She's unsure if he'll ever forgive her but it is a bittersweet thing for her to be free and yet not have her parents' blessing. Not much else is known about her.
Race: Human
Class: Thief
Items: Iron Knife, Lockpick, Trump Card (an item that allows her and those she chooses to flee from a battle/map - one time use)
Apperance: She has very dull brown coloured hair which is parted to the left and is shorter at the back then at the front where it reaches her chin. She wears a red fur-collared waistcoat with a dark brown criss-cross long sleeved silk shirt underneath. A green belt and side bag is around her waist with lighter and brighter bright shorts and black tights. She wears green boots with brown trim and buckle. She has interestingly coloured pink-purple eyes. She would love to wear sexier clothes and be more mature but they made her feel childish in the past so now she keeps covered up. She adores compliments about the way she looks but acts like it's the norm for her. Sherry Reference
