The large natural stone column that spans the floor to just below the ceiling of the cave, formed over thousands of years, the product of sulfuric acid eating away at the cave walls. In its place a tower of cloudy white crystal rises from the ground, a marvel of nature. Growing strong on the walls of the huge tower are communities of glowing bacterial moss, a universe of green radiating its soft light into the cave. The pillar was named the Nenshou Chuuseki, or burning pillar due to the moss's concentration on the monolith and its resulting glow. This is the home of the Shuhan of the Kyoushu, here the leader rules, a complex tower riddled with a labyrinth of passageways. This is the Tribe's central government, and all who work as a part of the reign of the Shuhan can be found here during the course of their lives.
