I recenty read (glanced thru) a book I got at the library. It was: Fashion Victim by Michelle Lee. I findd it kind of an amusing book (I'm not much of a reader). I liked it and one of the chapters was called McFashion. It is a pun of of the Mcfood at Mcdonalds. I read this chapter specifically because of the joking pun and i wanted to see what this was all about.
In the chapter it described how stores such as GAP, A&F, and other mass producing stores are like Mcdonalds. It said that the simularities were: fast easy marketed unintimidating enertaining and disposiable. It also went out to state how you can be at a Mcdonalds in california and order the same thing as a Mcdonalds in Maine. Basically meaning the clothes are the same at mass producing stores.
It was a good book. You should read it. But anywa, what do you think about this?
