Present throughout all of the Kyoushu territory are old tunnels, hardly used and ignored by the majority of the Tribe. These tunnels are said to be older than the Kyoushu themselves, they are smooth and complex, the glowing green moss does not grow in them. Odd sounds can flow through the caves, and odder creatures have been seen inside them. These tunnels are always present, but they are not protected, instead they are greatly complex. The complexity of them would trap any wanderer aside from the Kyoushu who innately map out area as they go and can never be found lost. The creatures in here are monstrous, and none can be tamed except through the fiercest efforts of the Tribe. Very few can navigate the forgotten tunnels, and even less are permitted entrance into them.
