Party, Rave, Event, what ever you want to call it, what was your first one like? Do you even remember it? or were you ******** out of your tree? was it a massive, a small basement bash, some alright club event, or pure crap? what effect did it have on your life and did it drag you into the scene or did it just feel right? iunno, I just thought it would be interesting for everyone to share. question

My first dancey party was at a friend's place, who is no longer my friend apparently... Long story that seems to be never ending and non-changing and not really the point.. Anyway, old friend of my boyfriend's who he happened to remeet and we ended up becoming really good friends and constant party pals. Basically we'd do e and party at his place with a whole bunch of friends and bomb music... But we grew out of that, though not nearly soon enough. My poor body, abused with so many dirty dirty pills.
Anyway, first real event was Evolve. My god was it ever amazing, but I did too many pills the first night and ruined it for myself. Was still a blast, but could have been so much more. Plus I just went with my boyfriend so we mostly just talked to each other instead of anyone else, unlike my second Evolve. I guess I was a little unsure and still very shy. I've quite out going now and really don't give a ********. xD Still, was an amazing time and drew me right in. Admitedly, I probably never would have started dancing if it weren't for pills, I was way too self concious. But now I dance for the fun of dancing. ;D

I'm trying to remember the first rave I went to, but the only one that comes to mind was one of those semi-private raves that was held out in the sticks somewhere near Petaluma, on some land owned by some survivorists. I remember driving for what seemed like forever to get there. Then the rave itself was pretty cool. My friends and I did some e, it was okay s**t, nothing special. But I really didn't need it. I remember dancing all night and I remember that my friend didn't want to leave. I think he went to an after party. So I got a ride home from some friends who I met at the rave. I think I gave them my last hit of e, and I don't think that I ever did e again. Like I said, I really didn't need it, and in those days shrooms and bud were my drugs of choice. But it seems like a million years ago. rofl heart ninja pirate

uhh... my first party was sometime in 99 or 2000, i dont remember what year. nor the name of the party, or who was spinning.
all i know is that i was rediculously stoned, and someone was shooting a film in the opera house and they wanted me to hold the lights for them.
but A: i couldnt hear them and B: that confused the hell out of me
so they told me to stop smoking so much pot and proceeded to film some guy with huge dreadlocks break dancing.
i remember meeting some guy who knew who i was too, but i swear i've never seen him before in my life.
it was a weird night

My first was in the Summer of 2002. I had gone to visit my boyfriend while he was at AIT in San Antonio. 25 hours on a bus one-way. Yick.
I was 18 and the headliner was DJ Mea in her last live preformance. She had the flu so she didn't sing her lyrics.
The party was in a country-western club complete with a mechanical bull. People formed cuddle puddles on the pads under it since they had it turned off. Your's truly included. ninja
It was packed and I loved it. I saw my first glowstickers, breakdancers, and kandy kids there. I danced all night and my legs hurt so much the next day I couldn't walk.
And a kandy kid was born. cool

My first real rave was called Two Tribes, May 31st 2003 Ohh I was so god damned ******** I don't remember half the night. I was so ********, when the cops came around my friend passed me the joint to throw off the balcony, but I decided to smoke it instead. Yeah the cop watched me for a few minutes, then left (thankfully). I was so ********, the pill I took lasted longer than my glowsticks (shut up), I was cleaning my house from the time I got home till I passed out around noon. It was an awesome rave, it was called Two Tribes because it was bringing together the clubbers and ravers. There were a bunch of rooms, and a chill balcony with a bubble making machine (it was at a ski resort place) Pictures HereThe first one is Eugene, he's the one behind a bunch of those flash raver video things

I don't remember the first club that I went to, but I do remember the first club that I ever was thrown out of. It was an 18 and over club, and they played a little bit of everything. I went with a group of friends and I remember that we had to wear these cheesie glow braclets. One color was for if you were of drinking age and the other was for if you weren't. Anyway I had a drink in one hand and I was talking to one of my friends when one of my other friends(who wasn't of drinking age) grabbed the drink out of my hand and downed it in one gulp. At first I thought that it was kind of funny, but then one of the bouncers came up and told us both that we had to leave. I still thought that it was pretty funny getting thrown out of the club and all, but my friend was kind of upset, so I told her not to worry about it. And then we just walked accross the street to another club. rofl heart ninja pirate

My first party was called Cloud 3. It was mainly and anglo party. It was really great. The only room was a mingle of Hardcore, Jungle, Drum N Bass, Breaks and trance sets. I remember that big a** drum circles that went on for 30 mins done by professionnal drummers. Its the only time I though that glowsticks looked cool because they were actually playing their drums with it and juggling and stuff. ALl in all it was a great party. Can't remember the year.... I think it was 2000

well I guess it's my turn to share.
I was stupid in some ways, I spoiled myself the first rave i went to. I forked out the 150 + expenses (so around 300 in the end) to go to shambhala. HOLY s**t!... even just getting there it blew my mind, i slept beside a highway with semi's driving not a full meter from my head... or tried to for a few hours. then waited in that line up for probably 6-7 hours the next day tog et in and find a camping spot. I laughed as one of the guys traveling with us got his 40 of bacardi confiscated. but we go in there, found a nice enough site with tree cover for some of the day and set up. Holy did I over prepare, i brought this big camp stove set up thing my dad has, with a stove and BBQ build onto a collapsable table. It weighs a tonne but its convenient. we also brought like, gourmet camping food like sausage and stuff like that, needless to say I learned my lesson and kept it way simpler this year. but the first night, i felt gross and dirty but holy HIT.. i met britz earlier that day, which was trippy and awkward as ********, but saw her again on the beach and hung out a little bit, enjoyed myself and eased myself into the whole "atmosphere". but the second night went crazy, i spent almost the entire night at the DnB stag dancing my a** off, damn did I hurt the next day but night 3 was just as good, more relaxed, and i got a shower that day so I felt refreshed.
never have I been so out of m mind, and out going, i talked to random strangers, gave strange (and cute) girls hugs., met one of my future close friends, well more got to know him better. I drank I think 3 of the bottle redbull, 2 monsters, 2 bawls, 2 base, and a s**t load of 5 alive ( a full 12 pack over 3 days... along with water etc) and i barely slept more then 5 hours a night, tops. i felt like s**t for a week after but it was entirely worth it. and it just seems like every party, even the one night in the city affairs just gets better, though nothing beat mountain air at 5 am when you're ready to pass out from exhaustion. I don't think I will ever want to stop going to shamb... I even found a job where I get enough paid vacation time that I'm going this year for sure. xd
man if only I weren't so pathetic and didn't wait till i was almost 19 to start partying.

Nisori lol. I don't think that is what he ment layra. Its cool though, we should form a virgin club! Uh yeah I have yet to go to a club/rave/thingy. I would like to though...(stupid 12 and up events stare ...) I consider it virgin. I mean, think about it: it's hot, sweaty, hopefully lasts a while, not always good but sometimes unbelievable, requires at least two people to be done properly, and often results in (kandy) kids. I'd continue on about DJ's with big decks and other bad puns/euphemisms, but I really shouldn't.
