I know I am not the captain, or the vice captain for that mater, but I am very excited about this Guild as I am a huge fan of the lolita fashion and sub culture and i'm sure you all are as well.
So perhaps if we leave suggestions, the captain may be inclined to act on what the members want.
So leave your suggestions for what you want from the guild in this thread.
Wether it be some sort of Lolita themed event, or maybe a Lolita Cosplay sub forum.
Anything you can think of!

P.S. I like the idea of the Cosplay subfrum along with a Lolita Fashion Designers and Makers subforum.

I think it needs more content. In most lolita guilds I've been in there are sections describing different things like obtaining lolita on a budget, dealing with the curious public while wearing lolita, stuff like that. So perhaps expanding into that.
But also, because other guilds do already have that, I think in order for this place to have a real chance at success, we should take it a step further then that. Perhaps we can focus on a niche section of lolita, or hold weekly in depth discussions about topics that effect those within the fashion and what it means for us.
Just throwing stuff out there.

Well, I know a few reputable places to source information from, that's hardly our biggest difficulty. I think right now the only real obstacle is in making a choice on a specific focused effort and idea and acting on it. Tips, tricks, and helpful hints are easy to come by, being able to bring something new to the table is less so.

No problem. I don't mind helping at all. It's a topic I've loved and been into for years, so if you all need anything, just ask and I'll do my best to assist. On another note. I'm a fairly decent seamstress. I can also contribute things like tutorials for simple pieces and outfits. That's also an idea we could cater the guild to; Sewing your own out fits, acquiring imported fabrics, or how to alter and read patterns in the G&LB.
