Well, the ones I normally watch are Bleach, Naruto, .hack, Soul Eater, and Rosario+Vampire. Those are cool.
But there is one I've started watching shortly after reading the entire series, that I'd recommend. It's called Elfen Lied. Now, warning, it is gory, and has lots of cursing, extremely ecchii scenes (basically complete nudity), but other than that, it's got an extremely interesting story line. It's got shooting, explosions, for guys, and for girls, it's got romance. All in all, a good series.

soul eater
some of the ones that dont say comedy actually have some comedy in them but i just added the genre of each one.
