Ever since the dawn of time people and creatures have been fascinated by immortality. A small group broke away near the beginning after discovering the secret to immortality. They found a fountain-like object that if you took a drink from it's crystal waters you would be young forever. That is now referred to as The Fountain of Youth, they then created their own world to jealously guard this secret. It's a different dimension that they live in now. But that does not mean that the basest of impulses have died out for all though they are now different races such as elves, vampires, werewolves, angels, demons and more they were all once human. That is a side-effect of the fountain. No human can become immortal through it without coming out as something...else at the end. But the fountain also gives it protector great strength and magic. The protectors have named themselves The Knights and they guard the fountain's world on both sides. On the human side they disguised themselves as regular people often having bases in monasteries and other "holy" places.

It is said that Cortes searched for the fountain in Florida but he was searching for the portal into the other world. He and others found it. They were not welcome in this other realm. Eventually a great war broke out it was bloody and suspicious on both sides but eventually the Fountain of Youth was lost and now those in the dimension that was supposed to guard it seek it once more. But those on the other side they now knew that the fountain exists a group was formed to seek it out before The Kights can. They are simply called: The Rebellion.

Will you fight for what was yours originally?
Or will you fight for equality and peace?
Perhaps you will hire out your services. But whatever you do be sure to respect the Fountain and it's mystical powers or you could very well end up dead.

Strange? Me?::Ka' Laana is the leader of the Knights has been ever since they gathered together. Her past to herself is foggy she can hardly remember her human life but there is a secret that only she knows about the fountain of youth and Ka' Laana will kill to keep it. Ka' Laana will not tell her followers anything but the only other person with the knowledge of this secret is Cortes. He stayed in the other dimension with Ka' Laana and became her lover though no one knows this because most think he is dead. Her name is in a tongue she herself made-up and it means "Fiery Passion" this is the way Ka' Laana hides the secret and does most everything in her life.

Ka' Laana is leading the good life now using her status as leader to comfort herself and her secret lover. She entered the other world of humans to search with Cortes. She graced them both with an Elven glamour that hides their non-human nature. Her relationship with the Rebellion's leader is not known to any but herself. She does seem to hate him but then Ka' Laana is a woman with many secrets.
Hardly Normal::Queenly and spoiled would be the two words taht first come to mind when you meet Ka' Laana but it is just the tip of the iceberg. Beneath that veneer lies a passionate woman whose beliefs are nearly unshakable. Her process to getting what she wants however is questionable.
Hey Mom Look At Me::Can cast a "glamour" or a spell to hide nonhuman features and has the ability to shapeshift into animals. Her only weapon is a bo staff.
You Really Wanna Know::The reasonable answer would be Cortes but no one really knows if that's true.

Strange? Me?::Lilith was always a funny outgoing child. Her parents loved her with all her heart. Her family was super rich. People try to break into their mansion and take whatever they can get. Once Lilith was born she was instantly worth billions of dollars. People tried to steal her witch ended up in failure. One day one man was completely successful with capturing Lilith. He traveled far away as her parents looked everywhere. Soon at the age of 2 the man was shot down from other men who wanted Lilith leaving Lilith to defend for herself. Lilith and her doll Mr. Boogie ran far away from the evil people who try to take her away.
At the age of 4 Lilith found the fountain of youth. She drank from it and soon became young forever. At the age of 5 she discovered her powers. She mastered them months later. At teh age of 6 Lilith found a sword. It had strange markings on it. She grabbed it and felt the power and energy flow through her body. Lilith could read the markings that changed from time to time. Now that Lilith is out in the open alone many people are out to get her. She'll find her parents...... right?
Hardly Normal::Lilith is funny and outgoing when she wants to be. She is always sad and tired on the outside.
Hey Mom Look At Me::Lilith has a sword that she found. The markings on the sword change from time to time that only she can read. Lilith can also shapeshift to her animal form and adult form. She can also control ice and water.

1. I am goddess of this thread. I'm not insulting your intelligence I just mean whatever goes on here needs to be connected to my story or else okayed by me. In other words I am the Superman of this thread and Kryptonite does not affect me. You answer to me.
2. I may change these rules at anytime.
3. You may take Cortes or the Rebellion leader beware that both are male though. And I will tell you some secrets if you take one.
4. Follow Gaia TOS. If you don't know what that is refresh your memory.
5. Romance is good but nothing like love at first sight.
6. No cybering it's icky. And don't take it to PMs please I don't want to encourage breaking the gaia rules.
7. Violence is fine. Just please don't get too gory.
8. Literacy. I'd like to be able to read your posting color.
9. Literacy. Spelling mistakes are fine just don't make them all the time.
10. Literacy. You don't have to write an epic every time you post but I would like more than one sentence.
11. Make your posts pretty. Even if you only add the character's picture.
12. Posting size anywhere between 7 and 12 is fine.
13. On that note only anime pictures please sorry but real people pictures are a bunch of emos and scene kids I get tired of seeing that.
14. Change my skeletons and I change your face agreed? I worked hard on the coding by all means fix it if there is something I didn't close but don't change it.
15. Semi-lit if you can't post at least a paragraph you should probably leave.
16. I'm going to try and get a co-mod when I do you answer to them as well as me.
