I've been catching up on my reading and I re-visited a favorite of mine. James Patterson's Kiss the Girls. And I've read a couple others of his and I wanted to know your opinion on James Patterson's work as well as opinions on his character Doctor Detective Alex Cross.

I've never read anything of his, but coincidentally I just picked up Along Came a Spider, which is the first of his Alex Cross series, to see what he's like.
