I am a 18 year old senior in high school and i get bullied on a daily basis. I get called a freak, fatass, and a nobody. I don't know what to do or who to turn to and i have extremely bad anxiety...in other words, i don't stick up for myself because i'm too shy and nervous to. I feel like I'm stuck and last year, i was just ignored...now people are bullying me which is worse than being ignored. I don't know what to do! I told my therapist and she said that i need to stand up for myself but i can't! What do i do? Please?

i was going trough the same thing in middle school, i tried to stand up for myself but if i took a second blow; i couldnt anymore.
you gotta do it. what thoose people are saying is rude, stupid, and most certainly wrong. theyre most likeley doing it for their own insecurites. putting other people to try to make themselfs feel better... it never even really works. otherwise they wouldnt keep doing it.
you cant let them intimidate you. youre already better than them for the very reason i listed above. dont be afraid of what they think; who would want to be freinds with that kind of immature, stiffnecked person in the first place?
being shy is a wall to climb over; but each time you climb over it, it gets easier and easier to get over. especially if once you have, you congratulate yourself and remind yourself you are okay.
