I'm sure many people find themselves dumbfounded when they ask themselves, "What the opposite gender look for in me question " burning_eyes
There are, however, many answers for this question. confused
It all depends on the person's personality when you're wondering what they look for.
I created this thread for those who find it hard to know what the opposite sex looks for. I hope that with your advice I can help the people who do not know what the opposite gender looks for. 3nodding
Please post as much as you want in this thread, but keep it pg-13, as in anything you wouldn't want your 13 year old brother/sister hearing. sweatdrop

For me, I look for a guy who's well groomed (I.E. hair combed, teeth brushed, clean clothes on everyday, that sort of thing), has his own place, and a job. Of course, he has to treat me about as well as he treats his mother (Which should be respectfully), isn't gonna cheat and lie about it or just not be with any other female while we're together, and just overall polite to everyone.

As for looks-wise, it goes along with what I've said above. He doesn't exactly have to look like Brad Pitt or Johnny Depp, but I'd like him to be moderately good looking, nice smile, and maaaaybe a little bit of muscle on him. Not the body builder muscle cause that's just... Ew.

But anyways, that's about all I can look for in the opposite gender.

A lot. lol...I pride myself in pickiness when it comes to my partner. I refuse to settle for second best.

I suppose I look for first, above all is honesty. COMPLETE honesty; the kind most people can't deal with. lol...As part of that I seek loyalty and trust. Intelligence, wisdom and open-mindedness are also high up there. Confidence is great; even a minor streak of egotism isn't all bad as it shows some sense of self worth. I like them tough without being macho and kind without being a bleeding heart. Spunky and playful at times that call for it and serious when it calls for that.

Similar tastes in music and games is fairly important. In general, I like them being similar enough to me to be cool and different enough from me to be interesting.

People can tell me looks don't matter and that it's shallow to think otherwise. I can tell them they're wrong. Looks do matter, but not necessarily the way most people think of that. I like a guy that looks good, both in features and in apparel. A clean-cut guy is one that has enough self respect to take care of themselves; this also means I can dig a touch of vanity(definitely nothing extreme).

Add all this together(along with countless little odds and ends going through my head) and the odds of actually meeting someone like that is one to an impossible amount. *looks to the fellow in the other room* So, more or less...I won the lottery; I met my oddity. lol

I'm not sorry for being me...

In the opposite gender, I look for same kind of sense of humor as mine own and even a little bit of similiraties in both of ours interests. I think it's easier to get along when you have something in common. ;0 I don't look at the appearance very much, in fact, almost at all.
