Greetings one and all. For those who know me, they know that I love the art of fighting in almost all its forms. Also, they know that to me, the art of fighting is a lifestyle in and of itself. To me, it is more than just a physical thing, but transcends to being of a spiritual nature as well. Because of that I have created this thread for others who follow the lifestyles of the Martial Arts to gather as well as for those interested in the life of the Martial Arts. This then leads me to define what a Martial Art is. Irregardless of any actual definitions out there, in here it is will be defined as the art of using your body for fighting and/or killing. Or rather, that is a very slight definition of it. Enough of one though to explain the title. This thread is for those who practice Hand-to-hand combat, Swordsmanship or any other close quarter weapon style, as well as any type of Marksmanship including guns and bow. All of these and possibly more are allowed within for further discussion. Also, I would like to reiterate one of our founding rules in this guild, debate is encouraged, arguing is not. I say this because in my experience with threads such as these, debates will spring forth over what is better than what and who would beat whom. I will more than allow these debates to take place, however I reiterate once more... There is a fine line between debating and arguing, do not cross that line... Now, let this discussion commence, and may all your strikes bear the weight of your soul....
