Heres the big one that I look forward to the most. We have 50 people in the guild I am sure we all have very heart touching stories to go along with our pictures. I would like to see your very best of everything that has a significant meaning to you. For example. Senior pictures, family pictures, birthdays, falling in love. This contest is only going to have one winner. I hope you all exceed my hopes and make my birthday amazing this year!

*i'm the one sitting up. the one laying down is melissa.
i just want to say that this isn't just a picture. to me, it's a story. this picture has captured everything that melissa and i have been through together. through all the smiles, through all the tears, through all the heartaches, and all the drama, we've been there for each other. if i ever need someone to talk to and make me feel better, i know that she'll be there. and she knows the same for me. i moved away a year ago, and it just made our friendship stronger. i'm sure you've read the quote "God made us best friends because he knew our moms couldn't handle us as sisters." well, i actually believe that for us. haha.
so, for me, this picture contains every memory from sixth grade camp all the way to junior prom.

- Agreed, all of those pictures are lovely...friends are the greatest, and i know that when, or if, I ever find love, that I hope it would be as special as you guys have had! -
- So here's for mine... -
- This is a picture of my friend and I when we were younger. I love this picture because it has so many different meanings to it, having to do with numerous aspects of my life and what's important to me. For starters, this was when I was around six or seven, the start of my gymnastics career. If you knew me in real life, you would know just how much gymnastics means to me, and how it isn't just a sport, but necessity for life. Call me a crazy over obsessed athlete, or call me an individual who has fallen in love with the sport I do, and is dedicated to it as much as I have to anything else that matters.
Secondly, the girl next to me is one of my very best friends to this day (the one in the other picture I posted in some other thread), and the funny thing is that we didn't even know each other when this picture was taken. I met her three years ago when she came to my gym, but we had been competing against each other for a length of seven years now. I love her to death, and even though I had only realized recently, she had been a part of my life from the beginning. I know our friendship will continue to grow as we do, and I know that even if we separate later on in life, eventually God, or some other force will bring us back together just as it had before.
We have a joke about being long lost sisters due to our exceptionally long list of similarities, some being extremely odd, and this picture makes it more of a truth than either of us would expect.
So that's my quick summation of the picture of sports and friends...which are really the two things in life that keep me going. <3 -
