Oh lovely compatriot,
I have made you my toy,
Even so, your soul I did not seal,
In hopes of a greater joy,
I'm tired of these child's games,
I vow never to play hence,
A real human I so desire,
Yet I'm still dealt my recompense.

That's really good. Will you please read some of my work? This one is called Childhood Games. It's actually a song though.

Childhood Dreams

When did life become so mundane?
When did your dreams become so lame?
When did we scoff at our children’s dreams?
We ripped them apart at their very seams.
Weren’t we once in their shoes?
When did we start to loooooooose…
Our Childhood dreams x2

Don’t you remember what you wanted to be
When you were five, four, or even three?
Don’t you remember during the night
When you wanted to be an astronaut
Taking flight
But as we grow up we start to see
That life isn’t always what it seems to be
Now…it’s all about suits and ties,
It’s all about business
Sometimes even lies
We come home from work
All tired out
Your kids annoy you
You start to scream and shout
Just listen to what they’ve gotta say
Maybe you’ll understand someday
About their….
Childhood Dreams x2

Next time they come and say,
“Daddy, do you know what I want to be?”
Listen very carefully,
Put down your papers, turn of the TV
And listen to their…
Childhood Dreams x2

Whenever junior comes to you,
Remember you had those dreams too
So this is a message to all of my friends
Hold on to those dreams
Till the end
Never lose hope
Never lose faith
Always appreciate those…

yeah but i'm not a singe or anything. I just love to write and poetry is a bit of my strong suite. About a year ago I started to experiment with lyrics and this one just kind of happened.
