I Like Silent Hill 1, because the atmosphere of Horror make me Scared that the other series. And some time make me shock until jump!!! because the monster and Locker in School at Alternate Silent Hill. That's make me shock a lot!!! sweatdrop And How About you??

My all time favorite has to be 2. All the creepy goodness of James' anguish over killing his wife. And then there is everyone's favorite Boss monster (we all know who that is). It's just a great game.I guess the game is more psychological than horror.

For me, I'll have to say 2 or Homecoming.
2 for how creepy it was.
Homecoming for well, how about I say it like this:
I picture myself being in Alex's position everytime I watch it, and I always think to myself, "DEAR GOD, GET ME OUT OF HERE!"
Plus the fact that it's like Silent Hill the Movie: The Game.

Silent Hill 2
It gives you a feeling that you are alone right from the beginning.
Then when I gives you someone to talk to their distant and show little to no interest in James.
+ Things to Love +
-The atmosphere
-The characters
-The monsters
-The music
It's my all time favorite game.

As most Silent hill fans will agree, SH2 was by far the best. Why? Quite simply, the story. The gameplay, as all silent hill games are, was mediocre at best, however, In the survival horror genra you will find that most people concentrate on the atmosphere and the story over anything.
Now, as far as gameplay goes, though, SH: Origins was the best for me.
