Battling System
Each pokemon starts out with ten 'hitpoints' (yeah, awesome, I know) at the beginning of each battle.
What this MEANS, is that the pokemon -in theory- can be hit ten times before it is KO'd.
The first pokemon to be called on is the first pokemon to attack; giving it the opening advatage- whether the attack hits and whether it inflicts a certain amount of damage is determined through the dice rolling system.
As I have demonstrated above, each person will roll one die when it is there turn to attack. If the dice lands on even, the attack is a miss. If the dice lands on odd, the attack is a hit.
The battle continues until either one trainer gives up, it is interrupted, or one pokemon runs out of its 10 HP.

Damage System
One normal hit= 1 HP lost
One missed hit= 0 HP lost
One unaffective hit= 1 HP lost
One hit of a pokemon 2x the other's level= 2 HP lost
One hit of a pokemon 3x the other's level= 3 HP lost
One hit of a pokemon 4x -or above- the other's level= 4 HP lost
Water against rock= 2 HP lost
Fire against grass= 2 HP lost
Electricity against water= 2 HP lost
Electricity against flying= 2 HP lost
Ghost against psychic= 2 HP lost
(You guys get the drift?)
