At birth, everybody is born clutching an egg with their own unique symbol on it. On the eve of their 15th birthday, the egg will hatch, becoming either a demon or an angel, reflecting their true self. This however is not black or white, per sé; demons are not pure evil and angels are not pure good. Like humans, they have conflicting emotions and varying personalities.

Because your persona is ultimately a reflection of your soul, the two of you will share major personality traits. If you are an insane, sadistic b*****d, than your persona will reflect that and will be just as insane and sadistic as you.
All angels and demons share certain abilities; they have an egg form which can easily be transported. In addition, a human and their persona cannot hide from each other; they will always know where their counterpart is and can also talk to one another through telepathy.
Each persona is born with their own element.
The five elements are then as follows, in the order that their strengths lie:
Water -> Fire -> Wind -> Earth -> Electricity
**Water includes ice.
Because of the variances in people's souls, some angels and demons have additional powers that are not included above, such as shape-shifting.
**All special abilities that are not elemental must be approved by the thread mods.
Use you imagination and come up with the wildest of abilities!
The lives of a persona and their human partner are one in the same. For your persona to die is for you to die and vice-versa. However, if you somehow manage to survive, the trauma is mentally crippling, causing most people to stop eating or to even commit suicide, etc. Although, there are rare circumstances where a persona will be partner less; with the result being an almost complete emotional drain.
**Partner less personas can replace personas that have deceased even with their partner surviving. However, this is incredibly rare. In the past 100 years, this has been documented 5 times.
Not all personas have an inclination or the power to fight. Instead, said persona might help out domestically or have healing abilities and work at a hospital and so on and so forth.
And, naturally, a persona is much stronger physically and mentally than any human being.
