yay random discussion about Aussie children shows!!!
Anyway... OMG!!! THEY REPLACED ALL THE ORIGINAL MEMBERS OF HI5!!!
T crying T i bet all the original members left to make babies or something but still!!! Hi5 won't be the same!!!! crying
what are your opinions? did you hate the show love the show and have you accepted the new people?
same thing with the yellow wiggle....

I think the original yellow wiggle had to leave 'cause of health problems or something...I dunno. Still, those guys have been around for a while, since I was in primary school at least (and I'm in uni now xd ), so I guess it was bound to happen.

I know what you mean! Well, I honestly didn't know until a while after they'd done it because I stopped watching cheese TV when I started high school (earlier start meant I didn't have time sad ). But when someone told me I was like 'wtf? how does that work?'
I guess you just get used to things as they are and don't really think they'll ever change.

I only really remember them when I was at younger cousin's houses and stuff. Did they get new people who looked the same as the old ones?

El Rab I died a little inside when the replaced cheese TV with toasted TV Toasted is pale in comparison. It makes me angry just seeing it. scream Never was much for Hi5. It is sad they've replaced all of them. They didn't seem as genuine as the old Playschool or the Wiggles. I miss Greg. =[ He wasn't my favourite, but he was THE yellow Wiggle. They also replaced all the Saddle Club girls. I only know this by chance of flicking channels. They redid all the shows (presumably because I've only seen 30 seconds of one) with a set of new girls doing the exact same thing. I don't get it. confused

I thought they made a new season of the saddle club but changed the actors 'cause the original girls were too old or something...
I don't know, haven't watched it since I was about 12. sweatdrop
Also, old school Playschool trumps every other kids show on TV these days xd

i've when i was little i hated the saddle club but i've seen the new version and it's probably one of the worst tv shows ever! i think they made a new version of it coz one of the cast members died...

i turned on the tv the other day to find that most of the children shows have changed heaps exclaim burning_eyes exclaim
i seen high 5 and i was like wtf has happened.
and i seen the new yellow wiggle for the 1st time> i wouldn't of brought another person in neutral
And its the same at school exclaim i have a little cuzin in kindy, and they cant sing ba ba black sheep exclaim they have to sing ba ba rainbow sheep eek we sang that song, it didnt make us raceist exclaim

and at my school you have some aboriginal girls calling non aboriginal girls white sluts but if we said black slut we would get s**t of every one 4 being raciest.
i have nothing against aboriginals but when they do that i get sooooo cranky
