Anyone read these? I'm only on the 2nd book so far. I'm lovin' the fox (lol) and i think it's pretty good! I've had to set it aside and take turns reading it as I'm reading others too at the same time. anyways those who have read it what do you think about it so far?
It's more adult than teen, so i thought i'd warn just in case. nevertheless i love it so far!

The first book, Storm Born, was nominated for our book of the month, and it's one of the nominations that I would seriously consider voting for when the poll goes up in a week's time. I'm really looking forward to reading it at some point smile

I really like the series because it's not heavy like some paranormal/supernatural genre books tend to be w/ too much emotional drama going on. Storm born has it's moments, but it's humorous at the same time which i really like. It's like the Southern Vampire Mysterious novels when it comes to sexual scenes at times, but otherwise it's not to heavy or ridiculously vague about them.
It would be great to have it as the next book of the month. I wonder though, do you mean the whole series or just the first book?
Because Storm Born is one of those books in a series that breaks off and continues in the next. (i know some finish and resolve all the problems in the first book ((howl's moving castle as an example)) and then a new set of problems start in the 2nd ((like Evermore and Blue Moon)) )

We shall see which book gets nominated overall 3nodding I'm actually hoping it's either Storm Born or Graceling by Kriston Cashore.

XD we must have the same taste in books so greatly you're predicting my next reading ventures XP i also got Storm Front (Dresden files series), Wings (Laurel series) and Eon: Dragoneye Reborn. lol we'd have to move this thread if it got choosen for the next book ^^, though i currently wouldn't mind Graceling.

Haha, well, Graceling was nominated by another member just after I'd bought it too, so someone must be predicting both of our future reading. I have to say that I, too, wouldn't mind either of these books. It would be nice to have either of them. We shall see smile

Dark Swan is pretty good as far as I've read it. (still on the 2nd book) I'd definately recommend people to give it a read. I have to admit my favorite character love is torn at the moment is between Dorian and Kiyo. Dorian especially as he has such a laid back personality for his position. spoilers in white in case. though it's usually all just a farce as the reader learns, even if it's right up front, that he's full of it. But he's still got a good heart, even if he wants to rule over all of mankind and his own included. lol

Just finished the 2nd book after a prolonged pause between. lol and I have to say I enjoyed them. I really can't wait to see what happens to her in the next book and though the last few bits of the book made me cringe for good reason, as anyone whose read it knows. I'm happy with the ending though. Dorian is a good man/fey, even if he's got hidden ulterior motives that have yet to really surface. It was rather sad about Kiyo and that he couldn't seem to get his mind around the facts despite that fact they were screaming in his face. I know I wouldn't have hesitated despite the outcome the effects eventually created. Leith deserved it.
