I've never been that into FF, but there were two things I really did enjoy (unless you'll include Chocobo's Dungeon 2..then it's 3. lol), that being Final Fantasy VII on the PC and Advent Children.
I'm curious as to whether you guys had a preference when it came to Advent Children. I watched that movie A LOT when it came out, both English dubbed and Japanese with subtitles, and found that I DEFINITELY hold an opinion. In my opinion, the English dubbed version sounded HORRIBLE. I'm not one of those people that think JUST because it's in Japanese that MUST make it far superior (and I find that mentality truly ridiculous), but it just sounds a good deal better. The bad guys aren't whiny for one...well, as whiny.
So, I'd like to hear your opinion on this; subtitles, dubbed, other?

Well i watched the dubbed one, which i noticed the bad guys were a little whiny...but i overall liked the movie, but i would hate to have to look at the bottom of the screen the entire movie to understand what they say sweatdrop

Myself, I'm more of a fan of the original Japanese with subtitles. But I do, however, enjoy the english dub. I'd have to say the only downside of the original Japanese is like what Shibiryu said is having to look at the bottom of the screen for the subtitles.

I first started watching it in English dubbed but as I started to remember all the lines, I changed to Japanese Audio and I enjoy it much better! I tend to prefer wathing shows in Japanese rather than English dubbed, bu I dunno why o_O
