What i am currently working on:
Aquatica University- A school for merpeople of all ages
Docere Homosapiens University- A school for humans to learn about merpeople.
A roleplaying game, which i am working on currently but might take awhile.

I have volunteered to be headmaster of the Aquatica University. You will be taking lessons from me tomorrow at Sushi's house. I hope to see as many as you there. Just pop in for a lesson.

I am known for avi art,
though my camera is down,
if I spend enough time on regular 'ol Paint,
I may do something acceptible.

i think we need to be more organized. We seem to start things and not finish them. It a bit annoying.
Also we need to get sigs, so we can find more people. I would help with that, if i can ever figure out how to make them.
When it comes to contests we need rules, beginning and ending dates, and all other stuff that goes along with contests. maybe make a sub-forum for contests.
i think it would be cool to make a sub-forum for people with cool aquariums to post in, since we are more of a underwater guild.
I noticed a lot of people want to do avi art, so why not make a sub-forum for art, and let each person have their own page within the sub-forum.
We need more fun events, otherwise the guild will slow down and possibly die. With events it can be within just the guild forum. or maybe in towns, zOMG, and where ever else.
I believe I covered everything I needed to say, if not I will definitely add more to it.

oh i remembered something else.
If we do a lot of sub-forums, we will need donation days, so the guild can grow.
Another thing is with guild contests, it might be useful to create a guild figure head. In other words create a separate account, that different donations go into, through trades.
this account would only serve as a guild bank! it wouldn't post in the forums, nor count as any vote in a contest, to keep things fair. To keep track of donations, you will need to keep a PRIVATE journal on the account. A separate page for each person. With this you will also need a page for gold going out from contests. Maybe people can only when big contests once a season (3 months) smaller ones maybe once a month.
You would want to separate the donations to the guild (for sub-forums) and donations to the guild for contests. Only the guild leader could run the account.
maybe even once a month do a total count to see who donated the most, and they could win a water related item. This may get you more donations. But remember to show the difference between types of donations.

gah another thing (i promise this will be shorter)
we need to get people active in this guild. When you go to the members page more than half the people dont even post or donate.
we need to really find ways to keep people interested, maybe a monthly newsletter through the new messaging system for guilds (guild announcements) so they look and see we are still here. on the announcement can have the newest contests, maybe hints to new storys (first few lines+ title) you can do surveys to see what is working and what is not, get peoples input.
i think over time this can become a very successful guild, we just need to get stuff going in an organized way.
