I've never playing the Fallout series, so I'd have to say Oblivion....

Im going to have to say Fall out 3 i think it has a better story line and weapons

WELL I LIKE BOTH OF THEM....
I THINK BOTH OF THEM COULD HAVE MULTIPLAYER OR EVEN CO-OP
I HEARD THAT A MMO FOR ELDER SCROLLS ARE RUMORED THOUGH

Fallout has clunched the whole 'OMG-WE-JUS-GOTTED-NUKED' Feeling having a wasteland filled with unpredictible characters letting you shape your own future from when your a child, Desiding if you want to be good or Evil.
Oblivion is the OG. Perfect art work, The AI may have a Fetish for Mud Crabs but thats okay. You cant really change your own future, But that could be a good think, Kill everyone in Bruma and still save the world? Perfection!

I gotta agree with the guy above me, but I still believe that Fallout 3 is more fun to play than Oblivion. That reason is because granted Oblivion has some outstanding graphics, and it's smoth to play, but Fallout 3 is only a little bit behind in the art competition and it has a more choice selection of weapons to choose from.

i will have to say both. i liked oblivion for the shivering isle dlc. fallout 3 operation achorage. i like the endless freedom in an area though.
