Premier is bearing down fast on me and I'm not sure if I'm ready. The ending of the last season had me wondering all summer where can the show go from here? Of course the previous season ending with Dean getting killed and dragged into Hell did make one wonder what was going to happen next season. Sure enough, it didn't disappoint. Last season ended with the Sam being tricked into breaking the final seal holding Lucifer and setting off the Apocalypse.
OK, brief time out to say: HOLY s**t!!!!
Coming from the Buffy/Angel mindset of "OK here comes the Apocalypse again, how we gonna stop it this time?" this is new ground for me. There's no stopping it so the characters are going to have to ******** deal with it. The closest I've seen to a set up like this is, funny enough since I'm currently rewatching it, Angel season 4. It's a bit different here. This is full on Biblical Apocalypse.
I'm totally geeking out.

You need to get on that, Red.
As far as the season premiere, I'm totally stoked. The whole "fade to white" thing ticked me off last time 'round, and I can't wait to see what the crew came up for their interpretation of the Apocalypse.

First off: Kas and Bobby and made of complete and total win.
The scenes with Lucifer were just creepy beyond creepy. Dean being the chosen vessel of Michael was pretty nuts, but makes sense looking back at things from season 4. Insane Sam fan was great.
Lines of the night.
Sam: "Can't you stop touching me?"
Fan: "No."
And my favorite.
Dean: "Well, I've got a GED and a 'give 'em hell' attitude."

I will never look at clavicles the same ever again.
Anyway, awesome episode. I don't think there was a single thing that wasn't good (relatively speaking) in it.

So, episode 4 hit this past week and it was pretty good. Though really, seeing Castiel as he was in the future was a bit odd. The laughing, wanton sex, and all that was fine... just the idea that he pretty much has to be stoned/high/drunk all the time just to cope was not so good. And OH GOD the Impala.

For a while I did think it was Jimmy and not Cas. Yeah, I have to say I prefer the stick-in-his-a** Castiel. Chuck was really great too. Very creepy episode. I'm honestly engaged as to whether or not Dean will say "yes" to Michael. I want to say he'll find another way, but I'm really not seeing one.

Never ever in a million years thought I'd say this: Paris Hilton was awesome.

Marty Nozz Never ever in a million years thought I'd say this: Paris Hilton was awesome. "I've never even seen House of Wax!"
But as amusing as the episode was, I think it's been the 'worst' one so far this season. Probably because it was largely standalone, and I want the mythology stuff to continue on. Her beating the crap out of Dean (twice!) was great though.

Yeah, although I think after the previous episode they needed a little something to lighten the mood.
