What was the experience like for you? Time to share the horror stories, girls! xp
For me,it was both sort of exciting and terrible. On one hand, getting the bra was like 'I'm just like my mom now!';but on the other hand,my brothers gave me hell for it. I was always the toughest, and bras were of the 'girl side';the teasing never seemed to cease. Certainly taught me one thing:Boys are idiots. 'Course, every twelve-year-old girl probably thinks so. xd All in all,it was a very...interesting experience.

I honestly don't remember, but considering I have two younger sisters and my brother is 6 years older than me, by the time I needed my first bra he was to old and mature to tease his younger sister xd

It might also have helped that when I did get teased, about anything, I gave it back in equal measure. Especially since at the same time we are going through our growing pains, so are guys, squeaky voices and peach fuzz anyone twisted

I actually don't remember my experience with buying my first bra. I remember that I started wearing training bras in the third grade, I think, and that they had Rugrats characters on them. Haha.

I never wore a training bra;and I never could understand the point of them at all. I mean;what do they actually do? Do they actually constitute any importance whatsoever or are they as useless as a wet match in a dark room? confused

I think they're supposed to get you used to wearing them so when you start wearing actual bras you feel more comfortable in them. Or something like that.

I think I got my sister's hand-me-downs at first XD She's three years older so it wasn't much of a big deal. But, the first time shopping, it was very embarrassing.

... I can't remember. That means it was either no big deal or so horrifying I've blocked it from my memory.
