It had been a cold evening for the young Rosepaw. She had been busy snatching goods from the nearby village, deep in the woods. As he bay centaur walked through the marsh to her cave made of dried clay, she admired her findings. A fine and valuble necklace, made of sterling. Also, she had found a childrens toy. It was rough, hard, and oddly round but Rosepaw had spotted a child throwing it to his father, she tried tossing it up... only to drop it again. At last Rosepaw spotted a huge crack on the face of a granite cliff. She was at last home, to her own dull, yet warm home.

Another centaur was walking through the marsh. looking around and pulling her coat around her. The wind was blowing and it was cold. Since Idande was from the desert she didn't like the cold, or the mud that was sticking to her hooves.
She was searching for something, there had been some mysterious dissapearances from a nearby village. And she was out here to find out what was going on.

Smoke billowed from her cave as Rosepaw cooked some fresh rabbit over the fire. For once, the food hadn't been stolen, but caught with her own... stolen traps.

Idande's nose twitched as she smelt the faint smell of smoke, coming from one direction. She carefully pulled out a gun and followed the scent. Coming closer and closer.
Hiding behind some tree's she looked though and saw a young centaur cooking food.
Sudently a bird overhead made a noise and flu away after being startled by her.

A sudden movement outside her den startled Rosepaw. Slowly looking behind her, she spotted another centaur staring back at her... with a gun pulled out. Rosepaw rose to her feet, slowly to look like less of a threat. She began walking towards the older, yet pretty centaur. "Who goes there?," she spoke in a louder and deeper voice to sound older than she was.

Idande watched the younger taur rise and step towards her. She raided a gun to the other centaur slightly. Warning her not to come any closer. She had been fooled before when a seemingly inocent person would come close then attack.
She wondered to herself why would someone live out here?
"...I am here in reguard to the neighbouring village. Some items have been stolen from there recently. Im here investigating."

Rosepaw was now scared, but would not let it show. She tried to calm her shakey voice as she spoke softer now, "You have no business here.".
Was this centaur going to shoot?

Idande raised an eyebrow and steped forward slightly. coming into the light.
"What are you doing living out here? No one in their right mind would....i suggest you let me investigate your dwellings."

Rosepaw narrowed her eyes. "It's none of your business!," she snapped. She was now concidering running away... but she knew it would only cause more trouble. "You have a look around my home. You won't find thing I didn't make or buy". Rosepaw's heart missed a beat. What a dumb thing to say! It was all a lie!

Idande placed the gun back into the hoilster and brought out a piece of paper with a list of various items that have gone missing over the past few weeks.
She steped forward and headed towards the cave looking around at her various items. She was looking very closely.

As soon as the other centaur had turned her back, Rosepaw ripped her sterling necklace off of her neck and threw it into the undergrowth. She hoped that the taur hadn't seen it. Rosepaw stepped closer to her cave where the investigator was looking. The fire was runing low, but she didn't dare go near. A cold wind ruffled her now winter thick horse fur, but nipped at her bare, cold human skin.

Rosepaw glanced around. Thick, black clouds were begining to form above the marsh. Once it started raining, it was almost impossible to travel through it. "Now I think it is just plain rude to barge into ones home without even an introduction!," she shouted above the growing wind. "What is your name?". Rosepaw still spoke in her grown-up voice.

Idande moved her eyes and looked at her. The move looking a little scary.
And contunued back, looking through her various items.
"Idande Clearwater, Bounty Hunter from Millwood." She looked at the back of the cave ad found a few hunting traps hanging on the wall. They looked expencive. Too expencive for someone who's living in a cave in the middle of nowhere....
"...so...what do you do for income...miss?"

"I...," What was she going to say? What would happen if she told the truth? Rosepaw wasn't too keen on finding out but it seemed as if it were the only option when this so called "Idande" had a gun. Rosepaw took a deep breath and continud, "I stole them from the village," She stuttered, "W-what will you do?"

Idande looked at the young centaur. She could clearly see that she was scared. She knew how that felt a long time ago. what would grandfather do? She thought
She sighed and pulled the face mask down and turned to the girl.
"Well we gotta return what you stole, They might not press charges this time but I gotta take you in. Someone as young as yourself shouldn't be out here alone when there are dangerious creatures and bandits around."
She rubed her head thinking very hard.
