Is fekking awesome. Reasons= Better graphics than a lot of games out right now.  So yeah, Harley is still ******** sexy. Scare Crow is ******** EPICCCCCC! When Erich and joe are done I wanna play... Discuss Your opinions. Have you played yet?

Arkham Asylum deserves a Game of the Year. It became one of my favorite games really quick, and I'm usually not big on superhero games. They're either too cheezy or too gimmicky. The graphics are pretty spectacular, the lighting effects are also really good. The combat system is smooth and rythem based, which is fun, so far, the boss fights are pretty good, I'm stuck on one right now though because its a b***h.
I also absolutely love all of the Batman trivia in the game. On top of the main story line that is good and long, the sheer amount of characters in the game is amazing; Batman, Oracle, Joker, Harley, Scarecrow, Killer Croc, Clay Face, Poison Ivy, Gordon, the Riddler. On top of them, you can unlock character bios for most every other character and villian. Except Robin. I've seen no reference at all to Robin, except for one little quip the Joker made. "You need a new sidekick, Bats. Looks like you could use a new one."
You actually find trivia in the Asylum itself. Catwoman's mask and gloves, Penguin's top hat and umbrella. You find Mr. Freeze's and Two-Face's cells, you have to find trophies that the Riddler has hidden, you need to solve riddles for him, you need to search out interview tapes for patients in the Asylum. Everything about the game is absolutely engrossin.
The only thing I dislike is the fact that it's easy to get spoiled by the Detective Mode. I play more in D Mode than I do just normal game visuals, but thats ok, I'm starting to work out of it.

This game is legendary. It's a shame I have to postpone the rest until I finish finals.

I played it during a Con, until about 3:30 in the morning. It is quite possibly the best game I've played all year, and the most fun I've had playing a game all year.
It has the power to draw people together, too. Some dude that I don't even know sat behind me for about two hours, just watching me play, and he wound up being like, my best friend for that whole time. It was awesome.
