I THINK GAY MARRIAGE IS STUPID.
you don't need to be "married" to prove how much you love someone, if you are truly that deep in love you shouldnt need anything at all but the company of your chosen mate, and a place to call home. Im tired of all these queer advocates who want to emulate the str8 mainstream. no offence to any heteros but we are better than that, why consider it "being put down" to have a domestic partnership, it grants you the same rights and makes you deal with the same problems that marriage brings about. children divorce prenuptial agreements etc. marriage is just the word slapped on.
we are not str8, we shouldnt copy str8 culture. we have been different and will always be different until asexuality takes over anyhow, and we all like sex too much for that to happen. if your religious, that's a whole nother subject. we have for the most part been granted the same rights as hetero couples just issued with a different name. while i agree that even in our state the prop 8 campaign was totally discriminatory i personally say, so what. im not being self righteous, i hve an open open mind, i am just curious to hear what your thoughts are.
i never planned on getting married, and if i EVER did. i'd get prenup(holla we want prenu!yeah) i think that i could live a satisfying full happy life with or without someone by my side, though i know not everyone feels the same, "he is my other half" etc. but why are u settling for half a life? become whole, and then go snag that other whole dream man of yours. happy hunting...no on H8.
