A small Candy store located in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. A short distance from the residence of Yomiko, Fuyu & company. The store is quiet, small and looks quite welcoming. Candy of all kinds lines the walls, however as the name suggests the store specializes in Cinnamon candies and thus the smell of Cinnamon is very prominent in the store as well as outside of it. The store sells all kinds of candies found throughout the world and is a side business ran by Fuyu Arashi, though he is rarely seen in the store doing any work.

[[An NPC that may be controlled by Crew/GVC/GC is in the shop. Her name is Lynn and summing it up she is very beautiful and polite.]]

Masato appeared silently in the alleyway beside the Cinnamon Shoppe using Shunpo. His jacket caught the wind from his movements and fluttered about behind him as he moved to leave the alleyway. As he got to the sidewalk a new breeze caught his coat from the side. He smirked as the wind died down. It was time to put on one of his masks. His smirk turned to a gentile smile as he turned into the sweet man that was his mask when out among normal humans.

As he came to pass in front of the Cinnamon Shoppe the smell of Cinnamon became thick and pungent. The aroma couldn't be better, from this smell the smile upon his face became much more genuine than the mask he had previously put on. As he opened the door Lynn's voice rang out. "Hello Masato!" The woman was lovely, but being human Masato had no real interest in her. However he feigned a slight interest in her, simply to not raise any suspicion as to the true reason he was here. "Hello Lynn, your as lovely as ever." He widened his smile as he looked at her and made his way to the counter. "How are you today lovely?" He switched from a smile to a playful grin as she smiled at him. "Same as always, just working." He gave her a small faked pout as she stated what was obvious.

8:35....

It was 8:35 in the morning and she was already roaming the streets of the coastal city in her obsidian Maybach. She had been riding around the city for about two whole hours now. Every morning after she completed her two mile run, this is what she would do. Just drive around just to clear her head and make runs to the farmers market out west to get her vegetables and other food supplies for the household. She took this time to reflect on events that happened on the previous day. For example, Ritsu and Kuro showing up, Ame and Isabella suddenly appearing, and Tezuka's confession. It was just all too confusing and annoying. Yomiko did not know what to think or how to respond to all of this at the moment. She just groaned loudly in frustration just as Michael Jackson's 'They Don't Really Care About Us' made it's debut through her speakers. Automatically, the vaizard sung along with the King of Pop. Her disgruntled and confused mood seemed to diminish drastically but the sting of frustration was hinted in her singing.

The vehicle pulled up into the small parking lot, her eyes immediately trying to find a parking spot. An empty spot right in front of the store. Well, that wasn't hard. Pulling her car into the spot, the woman turned down her music and turned off the car. A small sigh escaped her lips, now her thoughts were back to where they were before MJ's heavenly chords granted her a temporary reprieve from them. She slipped out of her car and locked it. Now, what was she at this place for. The woman had pondered the question for a moment before her eyes looked at the sign 'Cinnamon Shoppe'. Oh yeah, she was here for Cinnamon. She made her way to the shop and walked right in. The smell of cinnamon filled her nostrils, such a pleasant scent. Yomiko was a regular here at the store mainly because she simply refused to buy cinnamon or any other type of candy from the big retailers. She wasn't with that, preferring her money go to the small business owners. Closing the door quietly behind her, Yomiko instantly looked over to Lynn, the woman at the counter, talking to a customer. She decided not to disturb her and her conversation. It was then that she began her quest for cinnamon candies.

Masato smirked as he felt Yomiko's energy enter the store. 'So my time here has finally paid off.' A small ding behind the counter rang as the door closed. "Ah I hear another customer entering. I'll let you talk to them. I know my way around." With a smile and a wink he turned to go select his candy from the shelves. Slowly he skimmed through they candy as he subtly made his way towards Yomiko.

Lynn stepped out from behind the counter, as she made her way over towards Yomiko. "How are you doing today Yomi?" The lovely girl asked with a genuine and sweet smile. After a moment of standing there a slight look of distress crossed her face as she bit her lip. "I haven't seen Fuyu a few days, is he doing okay?" Lynn was worried about her boss, though the way she asked made it seem more as if she was interested in him. Shaking her head she returned the smile to her face.

Masato stood at his favorite of the Cinnamon candy that the shoppe carried. He mulled over the thought of how many boxes to buy, considering how quickly he had ran out before. As he thought about this decision he also listened to the conversation between the two women.

Yomiko didn't notice when Lynn stopped talking to the male customer, she only paid attention to the candy and whatnot. For the first time all morning, her thoughts drifted over to Ame. What would she like? Yomiko knew the kid was allergic to caramel, so caramel candies were out of the question. The woman pursed her lips. Maybe she should've brought her with her to make things much easier. She sighed heavily. It was apparent that she didn't know what she wanted to do at this point. Hearing Lynn's voice jolted her out of her thoughts. The woman's sweet smile was something you couldn't miss. Always sincere. Aurum orbs caught the look of distress. What was she worried about? Yomiko's eyes showed a sprinkle of concern, not trying to over do it. As the woman proceeded to talk about her best friend, that bit of concern faded away. Just Fuyu. No one to be concerned about, at least in Yomiko's case but no so much with Lynn. It was a bit obvious she was interested in her friend, which Yomiko couldn't understand why herself. The woman decided not to ponder on what she could see in Fuyu, but instead attempted to quell Lynn's concern.

"Fuyu is at home... he's doing alright. I guess he was just really busy with things and didn't have time to stop by..." She told the woman, now giving her a small smile with a nod before her eyes made their way back to the candy. Yomiko now came to the decision to buy Ame an assortment of bags, allowing her to chose from there.

Karixa was getting some weight on her arms. She had been to that lovely place in Germany for more Cds, and for some chocolate to shave for hot cocoa. After that she had come out here and gone to get the Red Pop and enough glow sticks to light her entire squad. That was not a bad thing. This was turning into a rave, which wasn’t exactly a bad thing. She stopped mid step and stared at the shop she was in front of. A smile lit up her face and she quickly went to the windows to get a better look inside. The candy, oh the candy. She must buy some. For the party. Right, yeah, that was it. It certainly wasn’t because she wanted some herself. She enjoyed the smell for a moment, and then adjusted the bags on her arms so that they wouldn’t bump into anything when she walked inside. She was quite entranced by the lovely little store to notice much else. She walked inside and sort of began eating with her eyes if you will. She tried it imagine how they all would taste, failing utterly sometimes. She went to a corner where the cinnamon treats were heavy and looked rather in awe. It all looked tasty. However, she couldn’t very well buy the whole store’s candy supply. She couldn’t carry it for one thing. She would just have to look and pick the best. Looking at the shop, it might take a bit. That particular thought made her very pleased indeed.

Flower walked down the sidewalk, a can of peaches in his hand. He had a plastic fork in the other, and was currently stabbing at the little orange floating fruit. The peach he wanted continued to fall off his fork, causing him to cuss at random intervals. Whining loudly, he leaned on the glass of the shop that smelled of sweets, continuing to try and pick up peaches.

Oddly enough, instead of getting a male gigai, Flower got stuck with a female one. It took a few hours to get used to it, but after awhile Flower began enjoying himself. His hair was a big shorter than usual, and he was wearing a knee length black dress with a white jacket over it, but it didnt look too bad. Especially if no one knew he was really a guy.

Yomiko continued her conversation with the woman, now taking notice to her surroundings. Something told her to do so. She ignored the other man in the store, but it was quite clear what he was trying to do. Once the two women were finished with their conversation about Fuyu, Yomiko migrated towards another part of the store to find Ame some more sweets. From what Yomiko knew from her little girl, she was allergic to caramel. Caramel. When Yomiko first heard this, she thought having an allergy to caramel was quite weird. She had heard of peanut allergies but nothing of caramel. How can someone be allergic to one of the most delicious sweets in the world-- Well, both worlds. As a mother, she truly felt bad for Ame. Her allergy made it harder to find good candy. Her golden orbs roamed the assortment of candies, eventually picking up a bag or two for herself and Ame.

The Vaizard didn't notice the other woman walk inside of the store, nor did she really care. Probably just some random human, no one of importance. Well, that's what she thought until she caught wisp of her reiatsu signature. No. No. It couldn't be-- Yomiko looked over to where the reiatsu was coming from, to her left. And there she was, a emerald haired woman was just there, shopping for candies as if she didn't notice she was there. Yomiko had to take in consideration that it had been a whole year, that and she really didn't have alot of interaction with the woman while she was in the Soul Society. Just what was she doing here in a candy shop?

Was the Soul Society finally on her a**?

Yomiko moved away from the woman, going to another side of the candy shop, hoping not to cause her to look too suspicious. She didn't want to make a scene, at least, not in front of humans. Her eyes looked around the place once more, trying to find some sort of hint as to why she was here. The head of Internal Affairs was there. In the candy shop. Just how many more shinigami were there around the place? It was then when she caught the wisp of another shinigami. Damn. Her eyes were instantly on the woman, who was leaning against the glass window, outside of the shop. She looked like she was stabbing something. Yomiko did not know what it was.

Just what the hell was going on?

Masato grinned as he walked over to Yomiko, since she was near his favorite candy now. "Ah, I see you have a fine taste in candy." He picked up a box as he spoke. "Try these, they are a personal favorite of mine." He smiled politely. "Perhaps you will enjoy them as much as I do." He trailed off for a moment. He shifted his smile to a straight face. "Perhaps we can leave and talk where we don't have to worry about wandering ears. I have a very serious question to ask you." He tilted his head back towards the other shinigami and the woman who ran the store. With that he turned and began to walk towards the exit of the store. As he passed Lynn he placed the money for the candy he was taking, into her hand. "You have a nice day." He smiled and exited the store.

Karixa looked intensely at one of the barrels of candy. Yes. Exactly what she needed. Lots of tasty candy in one place, and they were just asking to be put into a bag and purchased. She looked around quickly to see where she could find such a bag, then stopped. Her head tilted and she thought. Reiatsu. It was familiar. She pondered this for a moment. Did she care? She grinned then walked down the aisle. Not now, there was candy to get. “I wonder how many people will show up? Oh well, better buy a bunch to be safe. If there is spare…” She paused mid sentence and grinned a good deal wider. “I might just have to eat it all. Oh what a shame.” She chuckled to herself and reached for the largest bag provided and went to fill it. She hummed a happy little tune as she did so, and then turned to go and pay for it. She got about half way to the counter before she stopped and looked at another display. Cinnamon cookies. She would have reached for another bag to fill but the store thoughtfully packaged them in a lovely tin. She grabbed one of these. She looked at the tin for a moment then grabbed another one. Better safe then sorry. She pointedly ignored the other reiatsus as well, very concerned with her sugary treats. She placed her purchases on the counter then rummaged for money to buy with. She paid, got another bag to add to her armful, and then pondered for a moment. Okay, so what was that woman’s name again? She was on her interesting list. Wasn’t she on some kind of wanted list now? Oh, that was it! The green haired woman suddenly started digging into her bags and pulled out a package of glow sticks. With a few pen scratches she put a note around the stout stick, and left it on the counter. It said Shihouin, Yomiko on one side of the note so she figures she might pick it up. It was a little note that said how she hoped she was well and to invite her to the handy little rave she was having in the ninth squad. If she wanted anyway. If not she got a free glow stick. She had heard that the former second squad captain had been seen in the Jade Flower when there were raves their, something that Karixa had never been able to get too. She then left the shop and turned directed to the shinigami in the gigai. “So, wanna go to a rave?” She pulled out a glow stick and handed it to the apparent female and said pleasantly, “Squad Nine.” She then darted away saying, “Hope to see ya there!” She would love to stick around an learn some oh-so-fun information but she really had to get some more things ready. More food and what not.

Blinking, Flower smiled when he was handed a glow stick. Man did he love these things! Grinning like a madman, he quickly threw the can of peaches and the fork to the ground, where an old hobo quickly picked it up. Instead of leaving the can straight up, he tipped it on it's side and stabbed a peach, smiling in an eye crinkling way when he got a peach into his mouth.

"So that's how you do it!" the blond girl/man yelled as he watched the hobo. The hobo looked up and gave him a blank stare, then sunk back into the shadows. Giggling, Flower ran down the street and into another alley, his dress flowing behind him. There, he seemed to literally disappear into the shadows.

If things were already weird enough, this random guy already made things more complicated. Just who the hell was he, anyway? Did he really think that she was going to follow him? Yomiko waited for a few minutes, seeing as to what the Squad Nine Captain was going to do. Heh, she didn't look like she even noticed her. That was good. Yomiko heaved a heavy sigh of relief once the Captain left out of the store. Good. No more being paranoid, at least, for now anyway. That guy who just left the store bothered her. What the hell did he want with her, anyway? Things were just getting a bit too crazy now, she needed to get out of the shop.

Yomiko picked up some more bags of sweets and hurriedly paid for them. If she stayed in the shop for too much longer, who knew who else was going to pop her. Perhaps her father? Who knows, he could be at her house waiting for her right about now. The woman heaved a sigh as she walked past the counter. Yomiko stopped, however, when she spotted her name on a glow stick. Glowstick? What the hell? She picked up the glowstick and stuffed it in her pocket, thinking nothing more of it. Eh. Free glowstick! It reminded her a bit of her raves that she used to host at the Jade Flower sporadically. The woman waved Lynn a small goodbye before exiting the store. Finally, she can go about her business.

Masato sighed. 'There's a meeting about now at head quarters.' Just then he felt Yomi leaving the store. "I'm terribly sorry Yomiko, but I shall have to cut our meeting short. I shall catch up with you later." He smiled and bowed slightly. As he raised back to stand straight his smiled faded to a slight grin as he turned and walked into the alley way, seemingly disappearing in the shadows.

Karixa arrived at the lovely store for the second time, enjoying the smells as she had before. It was a lovely place. Also it was the only starting point she had. She took a breath then placed her bags against the wall and placed the case on the ground. The coat she had on her gigai swished along the ground as she leaned down to get the instrument out. She moved by muscle memory here, opening the case and tuning the instrument quickly. That done she stood up and put the viola under her chin. Requests? Something fast. Con brio. Karixa mused for a moment then smiled. I have just the thing. She raised the bow and began with a series of smooth and long notes to catch attention, and then fell into the main melody. It was as requested a fiery piece, something that had a lot of spirit in it. It was good practice. Her focus split between the piece she was playing and her other sense as she was looking for someone. It was a decent piece in length and fairly easy to play, but still very catchy. She got a direction while she was playing, then tried to hone in on that. The music went on and she smiled, as she had got it. The music fell into a crescendo and she picked up the tempo. It was the last part of the tune and she wrapped it up beautifully. When she had finished she looked up and noticed that she had gotten a bit of a crowd. She bowed and got a little applause. She grinned then put her viola away. She had missed that. Once her viola was safely away she picked up the bags and headed over to the direction she had gotten a feeling about earlier. Hopefully this turned out okay. Tama was applauding in the back of her head, pleased for the tune. At least the piece turned out okay. She needed to practice a little more and get some better pieces under her belt for this kind of thing. She thought about what she could do better all the way there.
