Under the town, there is an small, unused sewer network that has been converted into a training ground. It is a maze that twists and turns and even goes up to a second level. The loud echos travel through the entire network and throw off your sense of direction. Most of the rats are gone, but some still live in the murky water. This training ground is best for water and sound manipulators. It also teaches you to find your way through a difficult maze.

Ayumi found the entrance to the sewers. Not the best place, perhaps, but maybe it would be of some use. She clambered slowly down the ladder, soon finding herself in pitch darkness, with sounds echoing from every direction. Water dripping here, a rat squeaking there, old sewage bubbling from decomposition occassionally...
She let her eyes adjust to the darkness, and she could soon make out the walls and ceiling. About twenty feet in front of her was a turn, leading to another tunnel.
"I wonder..." she mused to herself. She pulled a kunai from the holster on her belt, and drew a scratch in the wall. She could use the marks to find her way back. Until then... Ayumi crept forward, rolling her feet so as to make as little noise as possible.

Haruko was currently practicing several sound jutsus when she heard a sound. 'Sounds like a kunai scraping against the wall.' She conducted, quickly grabbing her kusarigama from her belt, she turned to face the direction of the enterance and waited.

Ayumi heard movement and looked up. On the other side of the turn, farther down the original tunnel, was another person. A kunoichi, by the look of her.
"Hello?" Ayumi called. "Am I disturbing you?"

Seeing that it wasn't a foe, Haruko dropped her defensive stance and smiled at the person in front of her. "Don't worry about it, you're not disturbing me. After all, I'm just practicing some jutsus. What about you? What are you doing down here in the sewers?" she questioned with mild intrest.

Ayumi walked forward, approaching the girl. Harmless, certainly. There was no danger here...
"I was going to practice my stealth and tracking," she said simply, half smirking. "What jutsus do you use?"

Smiling, she began to reply. "I'm training to become a medic nin so I know a few healing jutsus and I also can use several earth and sound jutsus; and a tad bit of wind jutsus. And you?"

Ayumi leaned back against the wall. "I tend to avoid jutsu, but those that I do use are of the fire type. I'm more a...hands-on...type person."

Haruko nodded in understanding, "I see, well that's the total opposite of me but I guess that's a good thing. How about sparring with me?"

Ayumi smiled. "It'd be a pleasure." She stood her full height, sheathing the kunai. "On your call."

"On the count of three then," Haruko was glad she accepted since her taijutsus is really weak, this training would probably do her some good. "Three.." She attached her kusarigama back onto her belt. "Two..." she got into a fighting position, "One." She then dashed towards her opponant and aimed for a kick at the shin.

Ayumi waited...waited, waited, waited...and jumped. She avoided the girl's kick only to drop immediately into a squat, hands set like tiger claws. She could feel the energy racing through her limbs, and smiled. She instantly leapt forward and up, thrusting her right claw directly for the girl's sternum. She kept her left knee and left claw near her body and face for protection.
"By the way," Ayumi called halfway through the move, "I'm Ayumi."

'She's quick.' She though while quickly calculating where Ayumi would hit and side-stepped to the right. Lifting up her left elbow, Haruko aimed at for Ayumi's stomach. "Haruko."

Ayumi rolled away from Haruko, turning on her left toe as she barrel-rolled to the left, away from the outstretched, threatening elbow. Smart girl, this one. This should be an interesting and amusing match. When she was back to facing the ground, she dropped into a pushup position. From there, she tucked her head down and rolled forward, onto her shoulders, her right heel extending in the progress in the hopes of connecting it somewhere with Haruko's upper body.

Haruko immediately jumped back a few paces after feeling the light impact of Ayumi's heel attack. 'Good thing she couldn't see where I was or her heel would've connected directly with my chest dealing much more damage than this.' Placing her right hand on her stomach, Haruko quickly healed the sore spot and decided on a course of action. 'Okay, lets try this.' Haruko intentionally remained standing on the spot looking as if she was still healing her wound and waited for her opponant to strike.
