Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend

Background: Won in an Eon Labs-sponsored Trivia Contest, Dia's Poke Ball was awarded to a young, blue-haired girl who'd been on the island for a few months already. Seeing as she currently had a custom Eeveelution awaiting creation in the Lab, the girl decided to be generous. She walked to the dock, waited for the next ferry from Vermilion to arrive, and tossed the Ball to the first person to get off with a "Congrats. You've got a Glaceon now."
The little lilac-haired girl who'd caught the Poke Ball stayed on the island for a week or so and then headed back to her home region of Hoenn to participate in some contests with her new Glaceon. In a few months time, with three ribbons under her belt, the girl and the Glaceon returned to the island, hoping to see the blue-haired girl once more.
Description: Dia has two sides to her. She has an elegant, princess-like persona that is used for contests, and an adventurous, loving side for everything else.
As Dia, the Snow Diamond, she is unflappable, composed, graceful, and prim. She is beautiful and cold, much like a real diamond. She is focused on winning and loves the limelight.
As Dia, the Glaceon, she is kind and curious with a rash side. She plunges into things just to see what will happen and loves every minute of it. She is excitable and happy, always looking on the bright side.

Things Go Bump In The Night

Background: Originally a blue and purple Eevee named "Bruise," she belonged to a different trainer - a boy. The boy wanted his Eevee to be strong and tough, so he purposely trained her very hard. Sometimes, he would gang all of his other Pokemon up on his Eevee to "toughen her up."
One day, while "training" his Eevee, an older blue-haired girl found him. Appalled by his conduct, she challenged him to a Pokemon Battle - if she won, he'd let his Eevee go; is he won, she'd give him her Vaporeon.
Even though it was a disadvantage for the girl, she fought the boy's Electrike with her Vaporeon and won brilliantly. While she planned to stick around and watch the boy go through with the deal, she was called away on business.
The boy, bitter at having lost, released his Eevee in Mosshaunt Marshes, knowing that the poor thing would be scared out her wits. The poor Eevee, beyond terrified, was pitied by the native Phantomeon that lived there. They led her to a cave that contained many Hitodama, causing the Eevee to evolve into a Phantomeon like them.
Days later, the blue-haired girl found the blue and purple Phantomeon and pieced the story together. She then offered her a choice - she could stay in the Marshes or go with the girl on a journey. Remembering how the brave girl had fought for her sake, the Phantomeon joined her, becoming "Ethereal."
Description: Due to her past, Ethereal has a bit of an inferiority complex. She tries her best to be brave and strong, but feels like she falls short. She loves Crystal more than anything in the world and tries her best to protect and please her.

Background: Once, there was a pair of identical Eevee twins. These twins grew up to evolve into Espeons at the same time. Their strange, Cheshire cat-like striping earned them the names Chess and Shire.
The twins were always together, gradually becoming each other's loves. One day, however, tragedy struck and Shire was killed protecting his elder brother from Team Rocket.
Unhinged by the loss, Chess went mad and was only subdued when a Rocket Scientist captured him in an Ultra Ball.
Description: Given to Professor Willow by an anonymous benefactor, Cheshire aids the researcher by using his psychic powers to communicate telepathically. He claims to have no memory of before being captured and is very suave and charming.
He is exceedingly fond of the move known as "Double Team." Combining it with his very strong psychic powers, he loves to create an exact duplicate of himself. This duplicate, called "Shire" by "Chess," is his best friend. Cheshire will talk to the illusion all of the time, treating it as best friend or brother.
When not in the company of Willow, Cheshire is a bit more abnormal. He uses his psychic powers constantly, loving to cause complex illusions. He will sometimes talk in riddles or attack other Pokemon for no reason.

Description: Competitive and slightly hot-headed, Emergency will do anything to win and please Mercury. He is her favorite Pokemon and never leaves her side. He is adventurous and rash, always ready for a fight.

Background: Originally given to Crystal as a slightly larger than average Eevee by Bill, Vaporeon became a key component of her party as her designated "Surfer." Later on, in Hoenn, he became even more crucial as the other half of her best tag battle duo. He pairs with Hellion, an abnormally large Houndoom.
Description: Vaporeon is quite laid back normally. He enjoys relaxing by water's edge and never turns down a good peaceful afternoon. He does enjoy his traveling as well, though, and has come to gain an appreciation of the unexpectedness of adventure.
Being a good 12 inches or taller than the average Vaporeon, he tends to be a little sensitive about bullying and the like. He can be very aggressive when he needs to be and will do his best to protect those in danger.

Background: Stain was created in Eon Labs by a group of scientists who were inspired by the simple sight of blood on an Umbreon. They decided to create a bloody Eevee. This Eevee bled constantly, dripping all over the place. It was in no real harm due to the way the scientists had designed it, but they hated cleaning up after it. Finally, in an attempt to push the responsibility onto another, they handed the Eevee off to their newest employee as a show of welcoming. The woman was startled by the gift, but accepted it with grace.
A short time later, the bloody Eevee left the woman's office to go for a walk and accidentally collided with a busy scientist. The man spilled what he'd been carrying, a bag of Mystical Sand, all over the poor Eevee. With a sudden flash of bright crimson light, the little Eevee became a brand new Sandeon!
Description: Stain is very patient and caring. She's a bit of a loner by nature and respects others' space easily. She enjoys quiet activities and likes to try to help others through their problems. She can be restless sometimes, but it's usually out of worry than anything else. For you see, if she remains stationary for too long, she risks leaving bloodstains on certain surfaces.
