So I get to graduate at 17! :] I had a summer job as an intern, and now looking for a new permanent job to help get a car! As you can see, I LOVE Modest Mouse! I was actually quite happy seeing that no one else has created a Modest Mouse Guild so I could create one myself. mrgreen I've got all their albums, INCLUDING "No One's First and You're Next" (my summer supervisor bought it for me the day BEFORE I went to see them LIVE! heart I've also got a navy blue Modest Mouse tee, from the show heart I listen to everything! Hallo Guild(One other member at this time), I shall introduce myself. :'3
I'm Arctic Sounds. Though you can just call me Arc for short. I'm 18 years old, and out of high school, though I will be starting college shortly. I do work though, near-full time cart pusher for Wal-Mart. Yaaay. In my free time I enjoy drawing and listening to music.
Modest Mouse is my top music choice. (Which is why I'm here. XD[I'm listening to "No One's First and You're Next as I type this. O:]) Though I also like other stuff like Death Cab for Cutie, Neutral Milk Hotel, The Decemberists, stuff like that. C:
Anyways. o 3 o Anything else you want to know, feel free to ask.
Oh. By the way, I'm also a Crew member. > : 3 (Directed at anyone new that might show up)

Hello my name is Austin I am a 12 year old honor student about to turn 13. I love love love Modest Mouse they are my 2nd favorite band. When Good News For People Who Love Bad News first came out my dad bought it and listeened to it 24/7 and i, being 7 fell in love with the whole album especially "Float On", "The World At Large", "Bury Me With It", and "Ocean Breathes Salty". about a year after that my dads whole CD collection got stolen. Then like 2 years later when i was like 10 i heard Float On on the radio my dad said that it was Modest Mouse. I immediately used my allowance to buy the album. Then i bought We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank, which was new at the time. Then I said I wonder what old Modest Mouse sounds like and it sounded even better so i decided i was gonna bye all modest mouse CDs. So far I have "Good News", "We Were Dead", "Building Nothing Out Of Something", "No Ones First", and "Interstate 8 (which is outta print and I had to pay $40.00 for)". I love all songs by Modest Mouse but if u asked my fave id say either "Never Ending Math Equation", "Edit The Sad Parts", "The World At Large", "Bury Me With It", "Bukowski", "Satellite Skin", "The Whale Song", "Florida", "Parting Of The Sensory", "Weve Got Everything", "Steam Engenius", or "Doin The Cockroach". In case u were wondering what band i could think is possibly better than Mosest Mouse the band is Schoolyard Heroes. Schoolyard Heroes is a very great band if u get a chance listen to them!!!! I would list all other bands i like but this message is getting long so lets just leave it.

Hey, i'm Kier. i'm 14 and am in 3rd year at high school. :') most of my time is spent on msn, playing my guitar/uke, going out with my gf & listening to music. :3 bands i like include modest mouse (obviously), Bright Eyes (as you can see from my name), Ocean Colour Scene, the stone roses, Bombay bycicle club, the cribs, bloc party, ian brown, NSN! and many more. :') i found modest mouse while searching youtube, and since then i've loved them. i've seen them a couple of times, they are amazing live. all the merch. i bought at the gigs is now too small for me, and i dunno, where in scotland i can buy more. D: i have 15 modest MM albums 'sad sappy sucker' being my favourite, i also have an ugly casanova album. :') if you have any questions about me just ask. :'D Cya. Kierrr.

Ohi. I'm not really familiar with the actual band members, but I really like their music. I guess I look forward to learning, or something. o: I have information about myself on my profile, I think.

Hello, my name is Evyn. I'm a 20 year old musician. ;D
I've been into Modest Mouse since Good News. That's my favorite Modest Mouse album, but I adore their 90's material. "Dramamine", and "Tiny Cities Made of Ashes", and "Gravity Rides Everything" are so incredible. Especially the last one.. it's one of my favorite songs of all time.
Modest Mouse is more than music to me. I can relate to so much of their catalog that it's ridiculous. I don't have a favorite member, because I cherish all of them.
However, I do like another band more than MM.. and that's The Dresden Dolls. They're my inspiration, so they win by default.. MM would be my favorite if it weren't for them.
So yeah. 8D

Hello Everybody. My name is Elizabeth and I am 18 going on 19 this December. My favorite band is Modest Mouse, and I'm glad this guild is here. I first heard them when I was in 8th grade, off the Good News Album. I couldn't stop listening to it then I joined some website that had one other MM fan who pretty much got me listening to every album.
Other bands I listen to would be Blue October(close 2nd), Two Gallants, The Shins, The Flaming Lips, The White Stripes, A bunch of old musicians like Cat Stevens and Billy Joel, Then some Christian bands like Esterlyn and Leeland.
Really it's all about the lyrics to me.
^_^

Hello hello. My name is Aaron. I'm 19 and I attend a university where I am studying English. I'm a real collector when it comes to music, and I usually enjoy at least a little bit of every genre. I'm a pretty big Modest Mouse fan. I own most of their albums, anyway. As for instruments, I play a bit of piano. Mostly jazz stuff. I'm not too good, but it's fun to noodle around now and again.
Some of my other favorite artists: Scott Walker, The Flaming Lips, Jethro Tull, The Who, Pixies, Tim Buckley, XTC, and the list goes on. My last.fm is linked in my sig.
