YAY! The beginning of the End!
First off I prefer you all roll your stats here in this thread >.<
Roll 5 6 sided dice and drop the lowest number out
do this 8 times and drop the lowest 2 over all numbers and those will be your stats
You will be allowed a 11 lvl Piece of armor or shield (defensive equipment) A lvl 11 Weapon or implement and a l0 wonderus item. You also may have 10,000g to spend as you see fit.
PLEASE! upload your character to an online sheet, be it myth weavers or tangled web whatever >.< Just make so I don't have to retype a bunch of stuffs.
Now I will be requiring a very loose background and it doesn't even have to be public. I just need to know
1. What you've been doing during your heroic tier and what your currently famous for >.<
2. Why you have come to Fortitude (Or have you been here the whole time, perhaps a hero of the arena, or a member of the council/military?)
Please keep in mind that you cannot be here to kill the queen you will soon be working for >.< Sorry for the railroad there but you will have be working as a team aye?

(suddenly I can play any race I want, whoo!) (just making sure this is the intended method, I don't mind higher stats, just never seen it before. I'm used to games where 4d6 drop the lowest, six rolls only, is the best option.) Purposeful departure from the default? (one item of level +1, one item of level, one item of level -1, and gold value of a level -1 item) Because that completely changes the available items and what I'm taking.

So in this case My score would be a 15 (Hopefully one of your lowest)
Yes you guys are SUPPOSED to be bad asses, and this kinda make it impossible to get really lame stats >.<
So the Highest you guys will get (if anyone is that lucky) would be 24 and if you somehow possible roll an eight or under it's an automatic re-roll >.<
Hopefully this will be similar to the "straight 18's" effect but still having some variety in your abilities
and Yes I've never been allowed to have things above my lvl so you can't either blaugh but I'll give you the gold to make up for it!

Okay so knocking out the two fourteens you've got 22! 19 (3)17's and a 16 pretty awesome at one thing fairly good at everything else. Nice.
Oh you can purchase anything your lvl and under with the gold. What I listed is just what you get for free. So will you be needing any other weapon or implement that you would prefer to have just that wand for free?

It wouldn't really be 'free.' it's like saying "I'll buy everyone a soda, but toms allergic to caffeine so he's just grabbing some water."
My two options are to get an 'inferior' item to everyone elses, or to use up my gold on my rod and then waste the weapon slot on something I don't plan to use.
Just not sure there was a need to force the item type on the free items. And unless you mean Wondrous item in the 2nd/3rd edition sense then that's even more limiting, both to my options above and to that item. I've not really found the items in the Wondrous item category to be overly impressive the way this system works. But if you meant anything not a weapon/implement/armor/shield then cool (I almost always use one of my items on a neck slot.)
