There is a lot of talk of 12/12/2012 being the end of the world. What are your thoughts on this??
Be respectful, and mind the rules.
I personally feel it is just an excuse to bump our economy. Instilling fear into the people so they will stock up on food and water, etc.
It's just hype. There will be no end of the world. It is no different than Y2K.

if i can ever kidnap my moms books.....
some people says its the end of the world, just like in 2000/y2k
other people say its the time when the nefiliam come back to earth ( which supposedly happens every 300 years)
wither is for fear, control, true or not- the 'end of the world' has been through many generations now
if and if it ever does happen it will be because: "together we stand, or together we fall"

I figure that something could happen. But its unlikely with today's technology. I think we should be more worried about the way our society is as opposed to natural/supernatural events destroying us.

With all the celestial alignments they predict I'd be amazed if we didn't have something happen with the planet, but I doubt it'll be the end of the world... maybe a few thousand, but not a species killer lol.
Though would be interesting if the annukai come back and expect their minions to bow down XD I'd almost like to see that lol.
There is a theory that in 2 days on the 9th there's supposed to be an energy portal open up to our world. We'll see lol You'd think we'd sense the energy starting to increase by now *looks around* lol

Yea cool huh. I just want to c what people do really, i don't think anything will actually happen. ( I once saw a comic of a mayan writing the calender and he got to 2012 and was like "dang out of ink lol") no seriously this kinda thing happened with 6/6/06 nothin happened. paranioa me thinks?

Okay 2012 is not going be the end of the world peeps mmmmmkay
The year 2012 is going to be the peak of the solar storms that are occurring. The worst thing that will happen is no cell phones or internet ect. for a day so don't go flipping teh **** out we aren't going to die ^^
