Physical Description: Estavel has black, chin-length, faintly wavy hair and dark brown eyes. He’s got a strong, square jaw that often sports a shadow of stubble and a faint scar at the corner of his mouth. He’s not particularly tall; in fact, at 5’8”, he could be considered short, especially for a male in the Weyr. An active lifestyle has given him a well-toned body, and over all he might come off as rather rough and rugged, save for two features: his large ears and easy smile.

Expanded Personality: Go, go, go! Estavel is an active boy and always seems to be on the move. It’s rare to find him simply lazing about because if he doesn’t have something to do he’ll find something to do. His energy isn’t boundless – no one’s is – but isn’t for a lack of trying. He will work and play as long as his body will let him. He tries to put off sleep until necessary, and even in sleep he’s sometimes on the move, though not of his own volition; he sleepwalks.
When it comes to work, the results Estavel produces depends on whether or not he’s working with someone. Left to his own devices he will get the work done, and done on time, but there’s a good chance it’ll be rushed, and thus sloppy. If Estavel is working with someone else he will often enter a competitive state of mind and will strive to outdo whomever he is working with. This is both good and bad because while it significantly improves the quality of his work, some may find his competitive nature to be trying. Teamwork can sometimes be difficult for this reason, if his partner can’t keep up with him. He can follow orders, but best submits to authority when lacking something to do, when the authority figure is one he considers worthy of respect, or when the situation is dire.
Estavel knows a little about a lot, a result of his flirting and restlessness. Planning and foresight are skills that Estavel lacks. He is prone to following his instincts and making snap decisions. He thinks fast on his feet and is loyal to a fault, but has little patience. He has no qualms about gambling or pulling pranks. Unless he is seriously ill/injured or unconscious, Estavel will do his best to stay out of a healer’s grasp, but that will not keep him from flirting with any healers that strike his fancy.
Speaking of flirting, Estavel engages in it regularly, and although he may occasionally flirt with pretty boys he is decidedly a skirt-chaser. Around ladies he tries to curb some of his more wild impulses, but the same cannot be said for tomboys. He’s a social creature and loves to drink with friends. He’s fairly perceptive about emotions, but not very good at expressing them.
History: Estavel was the product of alcohol and a Flight. His mother, a Hold-bred ex-Candidate, found the idea of abortion distasteful, but didn’t particularly want to raise a child. As a result, Estavel spend much of his early years in the Weyr crèche, or under the watchful eye of various workers in the Lower Caverns. His acquaintance with trouble began at an early age, though originally he did not seek it. At first he was picked on by his peers, or scolded for his restlessness, or getting underfoot in the Lower Caverns. As he aged he began to actively court trouble, pranking his former tormentors and sticking his nose in places it didn’t belong. His foster parents, an older couple, were hard-pressed to keep up with him, and were torn between pride and disbelief when Estavel became a Candidate.

^^ He looks fine to me! I think he'd be alright in whichever Weyr you wanted to put him in. One thing, this line here:
His foster parents, an older couple, were hard-pressed to keep up with him, and were torn between pride and _ when Estavel became a Candidate.
I'm guessing the _ is a typo?
Other than that he looks great to me.
