Shut thy mouth and throw kindly open thy Gates
Eos, glowing Goddess in Saffron robes,
Mother of the Winds
Mother of the Stars
Thy piper plays for thee a tune, meticulous and sweet
For him thy Gates of Gold, old and beautiful with Saffron inlay
Should open widely, accept him gladly and thou should rejoice
Thy children should not despair, but hold a merry feast
Thy piper, a beauteous young mortal, is ever faithful to thy Golden Kingdom
For thee he would leave his happy life behind
Thrust open thy Gates for he, and recognize a love quite true.
Thy piper plays for none by you.
