Since my kitchen floor here at home desperately needs a clean, I thought I'd share several floor washes. I have these copied into a book from the book Pure Magic by Judica Illes. That book rocks my freaking socks. Very practical.

Floor washes are botanical infusions which are strained and then added to a bucket of rinse water along with vinegar for cleaning your floor. Different recipes serve different purposes from cleansing to protection to romance. As in all energy work, you want to do this yourself, and focus your intent on the task.

Angelica Floor Wash

to cleanse a bad atmousphere from a room and to bring spiritual protection

~make a strong angelica infusion
~strain the herbs
~add to white vinegar and a bucket of water for cleaning floor and surfaces
(note, I know personally that angelica, or dong quai, is an emmagogue *i.e. it can cause abortion or mentruation*, so do not use if pregnant plz)

Banish Bad Vibes Floor Wash

Agrimony
Peppermint

~make strong infusion from herbs (when it says strong, I recomment an oz in a pint of boiling water, lidded, and left over night)
~add to cleaning as above

New Home Floor Wash

Basil
Hyssop
Pine Needles

~make as the others

Romance Floor Wash

This one should clean out bad vibes and set the stage for romance. If necessary, it sends the message out to the universe that your home lacks a lover.

~peppermint infusion and water only. If you need vinegar for cleaning, use a mint or floral vinegar
~try apple or chocolate mint for variety, and she what works best

Once you become more comfortable with herbs and their scents and uses, you will know best what to use for YOU. Be smart and avoid pigmented flora (lol).

Inadvertently, You've actually just helped me with a problem I've been having. I'm not pregnant, but my cycle has been wayy out of whack lately (only occurring every 2-3 months), and Angelica may just help to fix that. Thank you. ^.^ I've been rather worried about it and will still talk to the doctor, but I think I now have a solution.
