Come to Calypso's cave for a spot of tea, some relaxing, and good food. I'm waiting on you for a good time.

Lyra stepped inside the cave. The goddess had given her much mysteries, but she wanted more answers. She looked towards the end of teh cave and saw the goddess drinking some tea. "Uh, Calypso?" she asked.

Calypso set down her cup. "Yes, child?" she answered softly.
(Saw West Side Story on Broadway.)

(was it good?) "Um, hi. So you lived here for your whole life pretty much?" Lyra asked.

Calypso nodded. "Pretty much," she said sorrowfully. "But being immortal, I still have much life to live."
(Amazing. Very sad though.)

"And many lovers. " Lyra said. She looked around the cave. It was so beautifully crafted, and everything seemed to fit in place. "Amazing." she whispered. She shook her head. Interior decorating was her thing, but not that much. "I have a question. Can the gods die? I know it's a stupid question, but I have heard things about suicides killing gods."

"Gods can be forgotten," Calypso said slowly. "They can fade, they can be reduced to the merest fragments that they can wish they are dead, but they can never, truly, leave this world. It is like...chains...very long chains binding us to the Western Civilization. We cannot leave it, and it can not leave us. We are bound to it forever, or we go down with it. But no, we cannot truly die."

Lyra sat down across from the goddess. She looked sad. "I'm sorry for asking. But my father can't leave Olympus until he gets his punishment, and you seemed the next best thing." she apologized. She looked away, she might have just asked the worst question to ask to a minor goddess.

"Why is it that you ask me this?" Calypso said. "Not because I am me, but something in your mind is struggling to understand. Like the satyrs, I am good at reading emotions, and you seem desperately in need of guidance, and knowledge?" She shot a sideways look at Lyra.

"I'm sorry, I just wondered if the gods would leave us. I saw a group of Helios kids with Kronos, and that made my heart drop. I want the gods to be here, and not make me feel so ashamed to have to betray them and go with the Titan Lord."Lyra said.

"I'm afraid I do not understand," Calypso said, folding her hands. "Do you wish to join Kronos, should the gods all fade in your lifetime?"

"No, I just want my dad to be there for me, and never care enough so I hate him and join the Titan Army. I don't want them to fall. But I keep on having weird dreams, of fallen friends and winning gods, who spat on their children."

"Gods are complicated creatures. When you are a god, tempers run high, and it seems to you as though everyone must have your help. A wise person once said to me, that gods can never show favoritism, especially towards children. But tell me your dreams, for dreams are dangerous things."
(I'm going for a new look. What do you suggest?)

(I dunno, what are you trying to put out there?) "My dreams. They usually show a bridge in the background. Black fog is everywhere, but you can see six gods, laughing. I can't recognize them, but they all looked evil and dark. Below them are piles of children, probably demi-gods, not moving. Other demi-gods are seen throwing weapons and pieces of flesh into a fire. Beside the fire Hestia is chained up. Right before the dream ends they all spit inside the fire, and a column of black smoke arising."

Calypso shook her head. "I can think of no god that looks like the one you describe. Are you sure you're not thinking of the Golden Gate Bridge?" Calypso put down her teacup. "I can assure you I do not throw my children into heaps. The scene you describe to me is hellish, and is not of any gods style." (I dunno, sort of like a rebel, street tough, runaway awesome thing.)
