I do not use the Elimination Communication method, but I thought, since this is an alternative parenting forum, that some of you might be interested in learning more about it.
Here are a couple of sites to look at:

I AM sort of potty training right now. My daughter just turned two. We are not forcing the issue. She knows what potty, poo poo, pee pee are. She knows how to wipe (although I wouldn't say it's very thorough, lol). So, she knows the process, procedure, and vocab. She comes and tells me when she poops. HOWEVER, actually USING the potty is a whole other story. She has peed in it only ONCE on purpose. One time, she pooped all in the floor, all the way to the potty, and got like one little poop bead into the potty (lol). So she is learning, and she is ready. But really, she prefers a diaper, and she seems to find it embarrassing to poop in the floor, which when she goes free butting it, she always does. So I try to keep a diaper on her. Like I said, she is telling me when she goes, but generally while or after.
So, if you are potty training, what's up? How's progress? Any tips?
My grandmother says that she had her kids trained really early, and she did so by sitting her kids over the toilet for like 10 minutes every hour. I do not have that kind of ... motivation (lol). Plus the big toilet is kind of scary to Lily (I guess all that empty space under her butt).
So yeah, thoughts?
