The layout in my home is open. So when I fall into a rhythm of housekeeping, I find myself moving deosil around the center. It adds a flow of positive energy. I try by best not to clean when I resent the chore. The keeping of a home can be drudgery, or it can be the sacred creation of familial space and warmth. I try by best to be the heart of the house. So, with love, and around the circle, I go.

The clockwise motion can be added to the stirring of soups, the rinsing of dishes, the honey in tea. Be creative. Pour love into the bodies of your families. It is the most basic magick you can provide <3.

Even when i'm not intending to clean in circles, it happens that way anyway...
I've done housekeeping at a hotel for two years before, so i'm used to working in detail. When I clean, I go absolutely NUTS and clean as if I don't even want to exist! I get in every nook and cranny.
But it so happens that I clean sections of clutter one by one... I'll clean in small circles that eventually lead me through the path of one giant circle. It's inevitable, but it always feels right.
I've never been able to go into a room with the intention of cleaning, start somewhere, and zigzag my way through the room. Back and forth doesn't work for me. Circles are the best.

I may try this. I start by cleaning the biggest mess first, because it makes the biggest difference. Then I pick up the next biggest. Eventually I am down to picking up one thing and putting it away. That is the hardest part. Cleaning in circles sounds lovely and makes sense
