Here I will list some various weapons and spells as a guide for others. If possible please only give one or 2 of these to your character. We don't want people walking around with 14 swords and 23 guns. lol that would be heavy

Long Swords - Close range weapon - The longsword is commonly held in combat with both hands, though some may be used single-handed. Longswords are used for striking, cutting, and thrusting. The specific offensive purpose of an individual longsword is derived from its physical shape. All parts of the sword are used for offensive purposes
Longsword example: Katana
Short Sword / dagger- Close range weapon - Held with one land. Or sometimes one in each hand. Used offensively and is alot faster than the long sword but not as strong.
Shortsword example: Roman Gladius
Axe's - Close Range Weapon - Long or short handles. Very simular to the long and short swords. Some have a once sided blade and others have blades on both sides of the handle.
Axe example: Avenger War Axe and Nemesis Double Bladed Axe
Maces - Close Range Weapon - A mace is a simple weapon or ceremonial club or virge that uses a heavy head on the end of a handle to deliver powerful blows. A development of the club, a mace differs from a hammer in that the head of a mace is radially symmetric so that a blow can be delivered equally effectively with any side of the head. A mace consists of a strong, heavy wooden, metal-reinforced, or metal shaft, with a head made of stone, copper, bronze, iron or steel.

Throwing knives/ shuriken - medium / long range weapon
Example: Japenese Kunai and Shurikens
Claws - Close range weapon
Lance / Scythe / Staff - Medium range weapon

Revolvers - Long range weapons , Able to shoot rounds quickly and contains more bullets.
Rifles - Long range weapons. Slower but more powerful.
