I get these rude comments on another site when I say: I don't like Stephanie Meyer's writing.
They all respond something like:
YOU IDIOT WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU??!?!?!?!? YOU MUST BE SO DUMB YOU READ ABC BOOKS EDWARD IS SOO HOT heart heart heart heart heart heart heart heart heart heart heart heart

Believe me, some people at my old school got yelled at for saying it wasn't their type of book. *sighs* It just gets me that they can say whatever they want to about any books or other authors, but when we get near that one, it's like a switch was flicked. Instantly you can't criticize anything if you haven't written a best selling novel. It just... gets annoying after a while, huh?

Duh, of course he isn't. He doesn't have Sparkly Pixie Dust and he isn't that idiotic. And it's a good thing.

Well, people, I read the Twitard stories, and I knew people were obsessed, but I didn't know they were overboard enough to kill pets and try to cause physical harm. I've written a book and I hope to get published soon, and if I'm successful I will let the world know just how bad Meyer is! And how ***** insane her fans are.

Well, yeah, but you also have to consider the unchecked hubris of the author. I can't tell you how much I would love to beat her at everything in the world. She just pisses me off that much. And her stupid, groveling fans deserve a whack over the head.
