I've always liked making up characters, even if I couldn't really work them into the story I was writing, so I might just be weird and be the only one to find this cool.

But, my creative writing teacher gave us questions for us to fill out about a character to make up, and I did it on a character that was in the story that I'm working on... It was so awesome. I have like 3 new scenes... I ended up doing one of them for my other main characters!

So, make up a character (or use one you have already made up... no stealing any from published works scream ) and fill out these questions about them... If you want more gold from the posting, you can do it in separate posts, I really don't care. blaugh

(I give all the credit to the making up of these questions to my amazingly epic creative writing teacher heart heart although i did reword a few of them, due to lazyness on my part)

1. What's your characters name? Do they have a nickname?
Thorn "Johriad" Osaka

2. What's your character's hair color? Eye color?
Black hair with dark blue eyes

3.What distinguishing facial features does your character have? Do they Have a birthmark? Where is it? Do they have scars? How did they get them?
His hair is slick and combed back, he has a small patch of hair under his chin. He has no birthmarks and a giant scar on his back from a tiger attack. It looks like claws going down his spine.


4. Who are your characters friends and family? Who do they surround themselves with? Who are the people they are closest to? who do they wish they were closer to? Spyke is close to no one and abandoned his family for personal issues.

5. Where was your character born?Where has your character lived since then?Where is home?
He was born in portland oregon and has lived there since. He owns a mansion on a hill with a gravel driveway.

6. Where does your character go when their angry? He goes to find a man drunk enough to fight, normally a bar.

7. What is their biggest fear?Who have they told this to? Who would they never tell this to and why? His biggest fear is someone seeing past him to a nicer side and deciding to get close, he never says anything about it though cause he never wants to fight sane people.

8.Does your character have a secret? he wont fight people who show affection toward him.

9. What makes your character laugh out loud? death

10. When has your character been in love? Had a broken heart? when he was in college but his love cheated on him.

11.What is in your character's refrigerator right now? On their bedroom floor? On their nightstand? In the trash? Meat in the fridge, tiles on the bedroom floor, and the trash on the nightstand with random food scraps in it.

12. Look at your character's feet. Describe what you see. Sandals, shoes, bare feet? Do they have socks? are they nice and clean or holey? He wheres airwalk shoes, short socks with perfect strands.

13. What smells does your character associate with their childhood kitchen? Why? oatmeal because his father always made him eat it.

14. If your character is throwing things that they don't need out, what do they throw away? anything reminding him of his past. even photo's.

15. It's Saturday afternoon. What are they doing? Give details. It their eating, what are they eating? If their basking in the sun, what blanket or chair are they sitting out on? On saturday he trains in a gym for hours with a punching bag and a staff. He will start with push ups and sit ups doing approximateley 500 before picking up his staff and slamming the punching bag with it until it reaches the ceiling, never letting it fall into its original position. He then punches it until he tires out which usually takes four hours.

16. What strong memory has stuck with your character since childhood? Why is it so powerful and lasting? His father trying to light him on fire one night before taking out a chainsaw and chasing him away from the house.

17. Your character is getting ready for a night out. Where are they going? What do they wear? who will they be with? he will wear a tanktop and blue jeans. and go alone. usually barefoot.
