Here, all writers may introduce themselves to the rest of our aspiring writers and readers. To introduce yourselves as writers tell us:
What you are planning on writing What you most like writing When you were first inspired to write and who inspired you
The list can go on and on.
So introduce yourselves and then get writing smile

Hello.
As I said in the "Introduce Yourself" thread in the main guild forum I'm RenkonNairu.
I love to read fantasy, Sci-fi and drama so that's what I tend to write. I hope to one day write an original fantasy-drama but so far have been unable to. I like to keep in practice with my writing when I'm not working on my original works by writing a fan fiction or two. I love getting concrit on my work so if you see a fiction of mine in a fandom that you like, please don't hesitate to read and review.
You can see my fan works here: RenkonNairu on ff.n
I do have a FictionPress account as well but I haven't posted anything on it yet seeing as I hate every original story I've ever written so far.

Hello, hello. I haven't written anything in a while, but I have come up with an idea for a murder story that I really want to write. I have begun writing out the plot and outlining it, so hopefully in a few weeks I'll make myself start writing it. Feel free to prod me. I like being touched.
Also... Read anything Tommy writes. Tommy is very, very talented and I can see her being published one of these days. Her horror stories are delicious.
I can't remember who else I know from another guild that writes well. If I remember and see them here, I'll attest to their talent as well.

I forgot to mention that I am actually a writer myself.
Although I read a lot of Fantasy, the project I am working on at the moment is more of a life drama kind of genre (or more just general fiction, if you want to classify it that way). I got inspired to write it by an online friend of mine who just recently became a mother, and seeing the way she dealt with it at such a young age (she's just 17) was incredible. So yeah, that's what I'm writing at the moment, and I shall post some of it when I feel satisfied enough with my first chapter (I'm going through and editing etc at the moment).
I also have a good idea for a fantasy novel, and I have jotted down a basic plot and character ideas etc ready for it, but I'm not going to start properly writing it until I have finished my first project.
I have also written a fair bit of poetry in the past, so I may post some of that at some point if I can find it 3nodding

It would seem that my reputation precedes me. I figure its about time I posted here.
As I mentioned previously, I've got two published books on Lulu.com as Candice Dionysus. Web of Lies, which is a short story, and Heard It All, which is poems and short stories, and the first two chapters of Maroque as a teaser.
I have many other hobbies, but writing is something I do to keep myself sane. I write a lot. I guess you've noticed that, though.
Not sure what else to say. Any questions, just ask.

Hi all!
I guess I am a late bloomer. I neevr realized I enjoyed wrting fiction until I was about 24 or 25. Science fiction was always my favorie genre to read, so I started off with that. These days I dabble in a lot of different stuff.
I will be attempting NaNoWriMo for the second time this year...last time was a miserable failure. I have posted a number of stories for writing contests here on Gaia, but not much else. I have a hard tme finishing projects I start.

Hello!
I'm predominantly a Fan-Fiction writer. My penname on FanFiction.net is Arianna Summers. So far I have three finished "Beetlejuice" fan fics with another on the way, along with a "Nightmare Before Christmas" fic (set to take place before the movie) and a "Hamtaro" fic (set to take place after the video game Ham-Ham Heartbreak).
I also do non-fanfiction writing, but so far those few stories haven't gotten too far. I've attempted an Elemental fantasy story based on a roleplay I'm in. I like writing short stories, but I haven't published any online.
To glorybaby: ...I like murder stories =)

Oh yeah. I forgot to talk about what I write. Duh.
So I'm an original fiction writer. I like to work with horror, fantasy, fantasy/sci-fi, realistic fiction, "alternative romance", and realistic fantasy. Among other things.
I'm working right now, as you've no doubt noticed in the forum, on rewriting my first completed novel, UnNamed: It Began with a Box. It was... Poorly written, so I'm redoing it.
I'm also working on another novel called Maroque, which is going to be my realistic fantasy/horror novel. Its going good, so far. I'm confident.
Aside from that, I'm working on many short stories, constantly writing random poetry, designing other story lines and so on.
If anyone comments on my work, they can expect me to do the same for them. Likewise, if I comment on your work, please check out something of mine. <3 Thanks.

Hellooooo! I'm Jordan, But please call me anything but. Nicknames are absolutely loved. I plan to be an author when i am older, and to write supernatural/romance/comedy. I've been writing for quite a while. In the beginning i absolutely loathed writing as well as reading until i was nine and began reading the Avalon series. Ever since then, i have been writing almost everyday of my life, filling up all the memory on my lap top with stories. I currently have three pen drives full, and the majority of them aren't even finished. :] i post the majority of my stories on fictionpress.com under the usernames Malicious Squirrel and Malicious Squirrel II.

Hello, I'm the Evil Side, and I thought I was a fantasy writer until I read my manuscript over and realized it was just as much horror as fantasy, so I guess I definitely melded the two genres. I am now working on the sequel to my first book while submitting the aforementioned...
I've also scribbled down a few dreams. Whenever I have a nightmare I think, "Oh! I have to write this down."
So, generally, at four in the morning I am writing something creepy. I really like Stephen King (especially since he dissed Twilight and complimented Rowling in one fell swoop) so I hope that one day, perhaps, I can write horror as well as he can. Not likely, but one can always hope. And work very, very hard.

What you are planning on writing. In all honesty, a multitude of genres I would love to write about. Romance, Fantasy, Scifi, Horror etc. but the ones I primarily write at the moment are romance, and fantasy. What you most like writing. It get me away from life, and its fun to write and then share your stories with others who appreciate them and admire your creativity. When you were first inspired to write and who inspired you. Really Ive always wanted to write, its just I was too lazy/no inspiration until my sophomore year. Thats when I began writing fanfiction for certain series and loved it! I then went on to with inspiration from my friend Gracie who also writes but I have yet to read any of it, I started my own original stories. In all honesty, a lot of my inspiration comes from my friends that read my works, and the people who read and actually tell me how it made them feel to read it.

My name is El (short for Elizabeth) and I've been writing since... well, actually since before I can remember. My mom says that when I was a baby, before I could even talk, I used to sit on the floor with crayons and paper and scribble in straight lines, like I was trying to write... (almost makes you believe in past lives or something! I really do feel like I was meant to write. I don't know if I was meant to write WELL, but I can't imagine ever, EVER stopping.) I wrote my first series of books when I was 4. They were very short, obviously, and all of them were about "Cat and Dog" who had various adventures, most of them real-world situations and stuff.
I have a hideously short attention span, and though writing is in my blood, I've never once finished anything substantial. I've been writing my whole life, but I keep jumping from thing to thing without ever finishing anything! It's horrible! Lately I've been working on short stories, just so I can know what it feels like to complete something, you know? I have a general preference for dark themes, but I am perfectly incapable of not incorporating sickeningly adorable moments into everything I write. I LOVE wit and humor, but unfortunately I was born with very little of either (perhaps only the ability to appreciate them) so I sort of stick to being cute and dark.
I like fantasy and sci-fi the most, but I prefer worlds that are similar to the one we live in; I'm a sucker for retro-futuristic ANYTHING. I like steam-punk, desert-puck, cyber-punk... anything punk, really. I love the 20's/30's/40's, and I love when they're incorporated into fantasy/sci-fi.
I'm stupid for zombies. I don't know what my problem is, but I just love them so, so, so much.
