"Knowledge is Power," that's the motto at the Library of Power. The best way to improve one's body is to first grow the mind. There are towers of books collecting over many floors and many more sections. The books are written in various languages, some of which are no longer studied and considered dead. Many of the books have even been stolen from enemy villages and scavenged for, coming from across the world.

Rae enters the library and looks around, murmuring about how much time it must've taken to collect so many books. Looking around, she heads upstairs and looks for a table. Finding one, she set's her things down.
"There must be thousands of books here, surely I can find what I need..... But how long will it take?" Rae talks to herself, shivering lightly, "This place is sort of creepy... The sooner I can find what I need, the sooner I can get out of here!"
Rae peeks around the corner of a nearby book shelve, and takes out a book. Looking at it she can't understand it. So she takes another off a different book-shelve, this one seems to be about medical nin-justus. Where should she look next....

Rae walks a few rows over, and picks up a book, she looks at the cover.
"No title," She says to herself, "But that can only mean one of few things.... Every good book has a title.... Is this a bad book?"
Rae looks deeper into the book. Its filled with complex coded justsus and formulas.... She cares nothing for the jutsus- their outdated. Her full attention is drawn to the formulas, and their contents.
"So in order to solve the formula I'll need to find my chakra level.... Then decode the other variables?" Rae asks herself paging through the book, her mind is addled when she comes across a strange section filled with red marks.... They seem to shift and sway, mesmerizing her and drawing her deeper and deeper into a luling trance...

Upon entering the library, Haruko immediately tried to sense for another presence other than herself. Sensing a chakra source emitting from somewhere upstairs, she followed it to see a girl with light brown hair and wearing a black ninja outfit absorbed in reading the book laid out in front of her. Looking at the girl, she saw that she was in some sort of trance. Wondering if the girl was okay, she decided to wake her. Shaking the girl's right shoulder, she called out to her worriedly, "Excuse me, are you all right?"

Rae looks up, startled, she closes the book.
"I'm fine," She whispers, looking Haruko, "Are you a genin too? This town seems to be full of them now...." She holds out her hand, "My name's Rae."

"Haruko," Taking Rae's hand in hers, she gives it a firm handshake. "by the way, what was so interesting about that book you were just reading? You really seemed captivated by it." Harko questioned with mild interest.

"C-captivated? Uh..." Rae looks down at the book, her face becomes more serious, "Its just such a.... bad.... Book..... Its nice to meet you Haruko, so, are you looking for a book too?"

"No really, just looking for a place to study up more medical jutsus." She walked towards the bookcases and looked with intrest at the many book titles. "They have such a mass variety of books here. Wonder how long it took them to collect them all?"

"Generations, I'm guessing.... I wonder what else is hiding in this library..." Rae mumbles watching Haruko, "So.... You want to be a med ninja? Do you need a medical kit, because, at some point in time, it may be easier and more effective to use a kit. Especially, in a place where you can't afford to waste chakra.... How many jutsu's do you know, and how strong are they? Can you use them with the least amount of chakra loss?"

"Yeah, what kind of medical ninja would I be if I did't carry a medical kit; I also prefer to use my own medical solutions. Speaking of which, I'm running low on certain herbs, know where I can find a good herb shop?" She turned to face Rae with a questioning look. "And regarding jutsus, I already mastered all of my family's medical jutsus and I also know a few earth, sound, and wind jutsus. For when executing them, yes, I can use them with the least amount of chakra loss since I was trained a lot in chakra control." smiling at Rae, she asked with interest, "And what about you Rae-san? What kind of jutsus do you use?"

"Sand, but its highly ineffective currently... I find that its not my control that's lacking, but my chakra levels and.... It seems off when I attempt my jutsu's..." Rae smiles a bit, "There is an herb shop in town.... However, it won't be offishly opened for a few days since the inventory is low and the plants aren't growing to well.... Perhaps I should look up some jutsu's myself...." Rae pauses as she takes another book from the shelf, "Some people in my home village would think that you are weak for knowing what you do Haruko-san, you know more then most will ever...." Rae fades and mumbles to herself, "Don't let it destroy you."
(Its okay, I have to clean soon anyway...)

Turning to Rae who was currently flipping through a book, she gave her a confusing look, "Hm, what was that Rae-san?" Seeing that the girl would most likely not reply, she decided not to press it and instead, change the topic, "By the way, you were saying something about how the herbs weren't growing very well, right? How about I come and take a look? I might be able figure out a way to help them grow better." She gave Rae an sincere smile. 'I wonder if she'll accept my proposal?' "So how about it?"

Rae looks back up, closing the book, her eyes are serious but they gradually fade into a playful demeanor. She looks at Haruko, and smiles.
"Sure," Rae says, she looks around, "Is there a clock in here...? I need to finish up soon....." She heads over to the table, gathering her things and putting some books back, "I'll see you soon Haruko-san."

Watching Rae's retreating figure, she waved her new aquaintance goodbye, "Sure, have a good day Rae-san." Once Rae was out of sight, Haruko returned to the bookshelf and picked out a few more titles, "I wonder if they'll let me sign these out?" she mumbled quietly to herself as she shifted the weight of the books into a more comfortable position.

Kyoma walked into the library, taking in a huge breath as she saw the towers of books that populated the place. She put her hand to her mouth, covering her smile.
"This place is amazing!" She went to the nearest bookshelf, and looked at almost each one. "They must have everything here! I just have to check them out!" She then grabbed a navy colored book with no title on the cover. She sat against the bookshelf and began reading through the pages.
