So we've all asked these questions. Who would you pair D up with?

I agree with what Walter said but if I was going to pair him up with someone I would pair him up with Doris. He seemed to have much more of a connection with her than anyone else. I mean she was the only girl ever that acctually kissed the poor guy.....I think, I need to read my books again.

True, some girls will tear you limb from limb if you don't pair him up with them. Perhaps it is wise that some of us are remaining silent. I stand by mine though. I think that D and Doris would be good for each other. That and he was good with her little brother too.

I agree. As I was reading the book I felt like there was some sort of connection between the two

I think D and Doris would have been a lovely couple. I could be biased, seeing as when I read the first book, my mind told me that this would be an amazing couple. Too bad it didn't happen, although, in Tale of the Dead Town, Doris and Dan are mentioned, or alluded to by Doctor Tsurugi. I always wish that Hideyuki Kikuchi will write a short story about D going back to Ransylva.

That seems to be what everyone says. You don't really see D with many other women like he was with Doris
