This is the concept I'm working on now, next page is the concept I would've done for a flatsale, for all those who're curious.

TECHNICIAN Name: Nils Waltz
Gender: Male
Appearance: Nils is an average sized eighteen year old, though he seems shorter due to his lazy slouch. With a hook nose and a pale complexion. He makes up for his shortness with his mom's sense of fashion. One of the first noticeable things about Nils is the worn bowler on his head, with a few strands of dark hair sticking on his forehead. There's also a pair of developing sideburns running down his face. Behind a pair of round sunglasses leaned on the tip of his nose are a pair sleepy, but bright blue eyes. He's usually seen in a white dress shirt and a matching dark gray vest/slacks combo. All of it is accented with a red silk tie.

Personality:

When one senses Niel's aura and wavelength, they tend to mistake him for a small fry. His soul isn't a particularly ambitious one, but it's an adaptable soul, a very “Go with the flow” kind of guy. What most people miss is the hidden potential he has. He's often compared to a bear, when you see him sleeping, he's harmless, but when provoked, you don't want to run into him.

Nils wouldn't close his eyes to sleep if he didn't have to. He doesn't terribly care for work, or for doing anything considered “Strenuous”. He's often underestimated, and he prefers it that way. When people start expecting things of him, he gets stressed. When he has responsibilities, he gets stressed. Really, any kind of task that Nils doesn't take on willingly, stresses him out. Which is something the easygoing Shisuben wants to avoid. His lazy nature, however, keeps him from really making an effort to avoid said stresses.

He can come off as a bit Eccentric. And a little bit out of the loop. Just by the slow, deliberate steps he takes and At least, it seems that way at first. His actions are like diamonds in a coal mine. One doesn't see the brilliance behind his reasoning until they start looking for it. Niel's methods are very sparatic. Sometimes he makes quick snap decisions, and at other times, his thinking is a long, drawn out process. Combined with his apparent laziness, his unpredictability makes him come off as unreliable.

This tends to annoy everyone around him, combined with his dry wit, it's a wonder how he makes friends. Quite frankly, Nils doesn't really care. So long as he's happy, the rest of the world can turn on it's own pace. He may seem selfish, but he works surprisingly well with others, the trick is to get him to start working at all. There are times though, where he could be a really nice guy. He's capable of empathy, and sometimes he does go out of his way to help a friend out, but those times are far and few.

WEAPON Name: Katherine “Kat” Odd
Fun fact: “Odd” means “Tip of sword” in Old Norse
WEAPON Form: Katherine's WEAPON form is an umbrella sword. The weapon, as the name suggests, is an umbrella with a hidden surprise. At first glance, she's just a regular umbrella, but with a press of a button and a tug of the curved wooden handle, a blade about 37 inches long is drawn. When the blade is drawn, there's still enough of the handle of the umbrella to grip to use in battle as well. Katherine's blade is more like a rapier, meant to guard against attacks and stab vital areas, as opposed to slicing opponents in half. The umbrella on the other hand, well, there's nothing too special about the umbrella, other than the white lace accented by the black canopy used to keep the umbrella together.
Gender: Female
Appearance: From the two poofy blonde ponytails on both sides of her head to the frilly black-with-white lace blouse and short skirt combo, Kat's outfit is akin to how a French maid might dress, though a little more conservative than that. She's a little taller that Nils (despite being two years younger than him) and unlike the TECHNICIAN, her slim body is flush and full of life- there's always a smile on her face and a troublemaking glint in her hazel eyes.
Personality: If the way Kat is dressed didn't give you a clue, she likes being the center of attention. A good metaphor for her would be the little girl who can't sit still in the car, or the toddler screaming in the library. She's an ambitious and mischievous WEAPON, and doesn't mind a good time at all, destructive or otherwise. She gets exasperated and bored in stillness, something that Nils prizes. She is always ready for something new, always wanting to learn.

Nils has the potential while Kat has the drive. So their wavelengths work together, assuming that each side is willing to do their equal share. When Nils actually is bothered to use said potential, that's when Kat shines. She's still getting used to the bladed aspect of her weapon form, and because of this, is unsure how to go about being treated in the same class as swords and blades. Nils, with his fencing skills and adaptability, helps the eager to learn Katherine. Unfortunately, Nils isn't terribly into fighting, and often Kat is forced to be left to her own devices. For most battles, her wavelength is forced to dominate the partnership in order to compensate for Nil's laziness, making the two a very schizophrenic opponent to go against. At one moment one will go up against a skilled fencer, the next moment Nils might get bored and leave Kat in charge for a while- leaving her to flail in the wind.

Something that both of them do best is surprising everybody, though they have different methods, their goal is the same, and Their fighting style reflects that. Katherine's surprising element is obvious just by her weapon form. Nils' on the other hand, is only obvious when forced into a battle. Despite his terrible posture and deliberate movements, he's actually quite quick on his feet and quicker with a blade. He utilizes both parts of Katherine equally. The blade is used to jab at vital areas and find their way through an opponent's armor. The umbrella opens to give his opponents something to look at as he stabs them in the leg as well as well as a means to disarm someone. When Katherine begins to get a hang of her form, she could act as a shield, as well as utilize air currents to carry Nils in the air as well as grow bigger to create a barrier to keep his opponent from escaping.
