This has got to be one of the best series I have ever read! The language, the characters, the take on magic, everything, it is just an amazing series.
Have you read his other series?

I've read the first five. This was one series that hooked me from basically the first page...and the first book is still my favorite.

i love the series, my favorite book is dead bead simply because it includes a zombie t-rex being controled by poka, that is my favorite image in the entire series.
