Thanks to an inspirational person... This new subforum is for fun silly stories you can share with your time on the blue side of things. For example:
" I remember the first heat cas. I had since I've been with my marine unit. At first I took his temp orally, which was still fairly high, so I talked with our platoon commander about letting him sit out of this training evolution, so he can rehydrate and get some salt back in his body. However, when I told him his oral temp., the platoon commander (and my senior line) both agreed that a core temp was necessary if he was to be excused from training... and if you're a corpsmen, you know the only place to get an accurate core temp would be.... Lets just say the marine wasn't too happy with the news. Luckly, after the situation, he got excused from training, and I told him he owes me dinner now. As they say, once a doc gives you the silver bullet, then they own you. He bought me pizza later that evening."
A fairly graphic story, but something silly and memorable none the less. Now then, please share away!

I can agree with that very well! When your a marine (or even a 8404 Corpsman in training) getting the Silver bullet is more then enough insperation to finish an evolution. or matter how hard it might be. Remember kids: Drink your Gatoraid!

Sadly the best story i have now the Puggle stick matches from training. talk about American Gladitors! we had one guy who was winning his match take a tumble and fall to land on his back. his opponet looked at the instructors ,who gave a thumbs up, and he smashed his stick into the guys face. I could even imagine an epic voice call from the heavans: FINISH HIM!
It was an Epic fail...sadly the guy who lost was on my platoon. But hey he did put up a good match.
